NT: The People v OJ / 30 for 30: OJ

Too much to catch up on. Johnny looked at this like a game and played it masterfully, the way he redecorated this house was a smart move. That Darden and cochran exchange in court was intense.

For some reason, time Warner removed the latest episode.

This dateline special is good. I didn't know that Fuhrman pleaded the 5th amendment when they asked him if he planted evidence.

He sure did, so with knowing that now how could a jury possibly convict him?

Be surprised how many folks don't know this I hush them up everytime they bring the subject up...

The jury wasn't present when he plead the fifth.

I believe they were. There's a doc on Investigation Discovery where they show him getting examined by the defense, then pleading the fifth.
Yeah saw it too, they were there.

Specifically they were there when he said never used racial slurs and anybody saying he did was a liar :lol Then they brought the evidence with the jury hearing it all, and then he pleaded the 5th like crazy when asked about that and about framing OJ.

The police corruption became undeniable at that point. When ppl say OJ did it they ignore facts like that.

And most strikingly, "Did you plant or manufacture any evidence in this case?"

After each question, Fuhrman leaned over, whispered to his attorney and then sat stiffly straight to answer: "I wish to assert my 5th Amendment privilege."

As Fuhrman's testimony ended, Simpson hunched over the defense table, buried his face in his hands and appeared to cry.

Jurors, who waited in an upstairs lounge during Fuhrman's brief but electrifying appearance, did not get to hear the exchange. But Uelmen said he would ask Superior Court Judge Lance A. Ito to instruct the panel today that Fuhrman had taken the 5th Amendment.

Whether they were present or not they were made aware of what Fuhrman said...

I look at it like this...

The jury found OJ not guilty "without" bring present for Fuhrman pleading the fifth.

The defense team had this case wrapped up, and Fuhrman was just the cherry on top.

I gotta finish watching the last hour of Dateline...was on the phone. I recorded it tho. But man I didn't know Fuhrman pleaded the 5th to planting the gloves. That's crazy.

I didnt as well. Thats why im like if OJ clearly did it why would they need to plant evidence

Once you plead the 5th on one question, you have to plead the 5th on all subsequent questions. Fuhrman painted himself into a corner and the only out was to plead.

Saw first episode last night and for some reason I got the crazy idea that
Kardashian either did it or helped him FTW

they didnt touch on it in the show but there was always reports/rumors that Bobby K went to OJs house and disposed of a bag of clothes with blood on them

Wow that's crazy. I didn't even know that. The thought just popped into my head from his body language in the first episode. Very similar to OJ's when around the authorities.
Wondering now if the directors intended for it to come out that way

TBH i really enjoy the show but i think theyre way off on some of the characters.

they made OJ very very B-like. I mean i was young when this all happened but OJ had swag in that court, maybe theyll turn the character around but hes nothing like what i remember. not this crying scared dude they got Cuba playing.

and Rob K wasnt around much in the public eye but theyre really just doing an exagerated version of Ross Gellar lol

I don't that Kardashian helped him. They always said after the trial, he knew that OJ did it and starts to keep away from OJ
