it's very good; it's got that Pumking vibe but you actually see the real mashed pumpkin floating in it

Only homebrews and craft beers for me. Didn't realize beer had so much flavor the first time I tried a Belgium import. This whole time I hated beer and I have Miller and Bud light to thank for that.

Ive been on a sour kick for about 6 months now and I dont think its going to stop any time soon.
Ive found all my trades via Facebook groups or on Instagram. I always get nervous trading with a person for the first time but I have yet to have any issues and have completed 6 or so trades so far.

Yeah, see I have absolutely no social network accounts so that's outta the picture. I know there are beer trading forums but thus far, I'm just too lazy to sign up. I got a friend of mine in CA that said he'll look for beers for me, but he's probably more lazy than I am. But usually each year I can hunt down "new" pumpkin beers in the area. Too much beer, so little time

You werent talking to me but Ive had it once in a four pack. Dark fruit flavors kind of take over in the taste. But that's what some stouts are about. I really liked this one.. Victory as far as Im concerned can do no wrong.
daprescription, I agree with the advice of the two that already posted. I highly recommend just going to a brewery and buying a sampler flight of beers. I do this at every new place I attend. I get the way of the land so to speak, and then buy a pint of a favorite among the sampled beers....
As far as buying singles, you may want to start with the blonde ales, german pilsners, hefeweizens, and pale ales. If you have a TotalWine nearby, go to their website, type in your location, and search online before going to the store.. In general, you can sort by expert review scores, and get an idea of what is considered "great", and maybe try one of those. I'm often overwhelmed, and just check beeradvocate for a general review score for a beer I know little about.
When I first got started, I went neck deep in going on brewery tours and sampling entire beer lineups of various breweries. I was left knowing what type of beers to look for in a store, or at other breweries. Soon I stopped with the flights, and went to trying the styles I knew I liked.
We're in a great era right now with beer. Don't be afraid to start slow. Buy two new singles a week and get your feet wet.
Sam Adams in general seems to be a great starting spot. They have variety 12 packs, along with New Belgium, and Stone. Boston Lager is a "classic", along with Fat Tire... Both very modest examples that offer a touch more flavor than the big macro stuff.

^ I agree with the variety packs. You'll get to find out which styles you'll like and the ones you don't. As far as breweries, there's a ton in Norcal. Not sure where you're located exactly but below are some of the breweries:

I had that as well; while it sounds okay, it's not very good. Cool to try but couldn't drink the whole bottle by myself. They make some funky **** and some of it is good, but just a drink is enough.

Everytime I ask about Gumball Head, which is impossible to get, I always get told to try that because it's "better". Wasn't impressed. Let me know what you think.
