NT, What Beer Do You Drink?

Picked up A variety pack of Blue Moon seasonals/limited releases. They have a Cinnamon Horchata Spice Ale. My mind was blown being Hispanic.

Is the horchata any good? Can anyone compare it to the bruerys rice and beans or Or Xata? I never give blue moon my money but curiosity might get the best of me.

Having this coffee wheat pale ale from bottle logic. They rarely ever disappoint.

I'll have to find that! Last year they had like a Caramel Apple Spiced Ale or something similar but I know it wasn't Horchata.

I saw this pic and didn't see your SN and thought "cool, another SoCal guy". I've heard some good things about Bottle Logic.

I had this last night.
Nope. Sours are not for me.

I found a nice little beer shop in Bay Ridge today, which is just a deli but with a massive selection of beer.

Picked up some Sam Adams Octoberfest and this, haven't tried this Pumpkin beer yet :

As you probably seen already, general consensus is that is probably the best pumpkin beer discussed

On a side note I bought a Pumking tee from ST like 5 years ago and I washed it and shrunk from a medium to like a kids large :lol

Both Pumking and Warlock are great. Glad it's that season again. Finished a bottle of Warlock last night.

I guess southern tier started distro in Arizona. At least pumking. A friend of ours lives out there and is visiting for blizzcon. She already has some bottles for me. :)

I did a big oktoberfest tasting last year, and if I remember correctly, none really stood out. Consensus was, stay local. A Vienna lager or a true oktoberfest beer is likely within 60 miles of you. Buy one. Try them all. You shouldn't be disappointed.

Pumpkin beers are another beast. Each one seems to be that breweries interpretation of what they want to do with pumpkin and or pumpkin spice. Southern tier and Elysian are always recommended in here. I wonder if they are trade worthy ;)

I went to la cumbre today for a trade. Happened upon some malpais stout cask aged on oak chips. Super crazy good stuff. The oak/cask natural carbonation/temperature it was served at provided all of the flavors to just really come out. What a vibrantly tasting beer

Comparison ford with another quality trade.

Not sure where to begin

I'm rocking with DFH Punkin over Southern Tier Pumkimg + Warlock, and Shipyard Pumpkinhead. Gonna grab at least a case of the DFH when it hits shelves.

Picked up some Lil Sumpin Extra today. It's becoming a go to when I find it.

Grabbed Bells Mars tonight when I went and got some Founders Dirty Bastard. Excited to have both. Been about a month since I have had a craft beer

I'm down to trade for any pumpkin beer where you're from!

The DFH Punkin is one of the better ones for sure. I currently have 47 oktoberfest / pumpkin beers on my list and there are few that I even remember.

There is a big difference between oktoberfest beers and pumpkin beers too.

I just has these two. The Allagash one is solid, not quiet as sour as a sour but very good.

The can was basically cold coffee, wouldn't have it again.

Anybody ever wake up with swollen lymph nodes after a night of heavy drinking? I OD'd last night and woke up with swollen lymph nodes in the neck area; it's never happened to me before, only a sore throat.
