From what i hear plat's spend like 5k a trip.. best thing you could really do is ask a NICE pit boss to put you and your friends under 1 card ( thats what we do cause were all not 21) so youll get your points up quick.. Were still way off though of the next step.. Thats cause i guess we stop going with so much cash and going with what we were willing to lose which is a good thing ... Thing i recently did was take my downpayment for a new car to AC and blew it on Black Jack and Roulette which leeds me to KNOWING i have a problem..

is there a secret to baccarat or any good books i can read? i heard its pretty simple (bet house or bet player) but there has to be a strategy behind it.Originally Posted by romeo0o
i get about 4k tier points per 2-3 day visit. i used to play roulette. now i play baccarat. i would say i have a slight problem but nothing i can't control. lost well over 50k since i turned 21 and that's only to casino's. i'm 22 now. poker was another failed habit before i turned 21. but that's another story in itself.
what they say is, you pay tuition for anything you learn...

nah i'm goody....like i said i toss money on those games but never anything that will hurt me....and as far as poker goes i'm in that for the long run and got the BIGTIME in my sights...
gambling money is play money...bills are paid, food is on the table first etc...that money would go on clothes, shoes, nonsense if not to Foxwoods, Mohegan and Vegas...
when you start blurring those lines then you have an issue...
QFT. Im with this right here...
I consider myself a small player only going once or twice a week spending no more than 500 to 700 each time. But like Tre said, its all money that would be wasted on luxuries. Not necessities. I guess I could save more... lol.
It doesn't really lure big money players, but the minimums for baccarat tend to be higher. Most are $25 a hand even at cheap casinos. The game is super simple, but its all luck. No different then you taking your money to the roulette table and betting colors. Just ride whatever the hot streak is don't try to go against it. I used to do that all the time and would get killed. I see 5 straight bankers come out and I'm like ohh this ones going to be player so I dump a grand on player and end up losing.Originally Posted by Mojodmonky1

most if not all younger cats around your age that i know who are actually playin with a good chunk of change ($50K losses in 1 year definitely qualifies you) all play bac only. A couple of em will mess with craps or blackjack, but only for entertainment purposes. What is it about baccarat that brings in the big money players?
