Saw this handgun at Bass Pro Shop today while picking up some shotgun ammo. It's the FNX-9mm (also avail in .40 Cal). No it is NOT an FNP, this is a totally new gun for them. I really like it is a true hammer polymer, not striker fired like the Glock and the XD. I am looking for something to sell to get one of these, wife has banned me from any new weapon purchases, but the loophole is I can sell something and buy it with the money I get from it...hmmm. serious stuff

fnx is nice too- i'd consider it but they don't make them with 10rd magazines yet...

so fnp9 for me

Yes, that's exactly where I saw it...on gunbroker. Realistically I'm looking at around 3-4 years before I'll have my Class III and NFA privileges, more so because of the $$$ involved with the process. There are a few things I need to take care of first before dropping 5-10k on my toys.

I'll have some fun with this, I've been wanting a silencer for the Walther P22

Update on Kansas Class 3[/h2]

I guess our Governor signed the bill today making Kansas a Class 3 state. This was sent to me in an email from the NRA

"Today, Monday, April 21, Governor Kathleen Sebelius (D) signed two important pro-gun bills into law.

The first, House Bill 2280, will protect law-abiding gun ownersâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] right to bear arms, and would prevent the confiscation of firearms during a state of emergency, such as occurred following Hurricane Katrina and after the tornado devastation in Greensburg.



Also signed was Senate Bill 46, legislation that will allow Kansas firearm retailers, manufacturers, importers and citizens qualified under the National Firearms Act to sell, manufacture, import and own NFA firearms."

Never thought I'd see the day.

The actual products. They go for a lot of money...the guns at least. The suppressors are much less. I think the price kinda serves as a deterrent of some sorts.

It's OFFICIAL!!! I'm getting the FNP .45 Tactical complete with red dot reflex sight. Give it 3 weeks to a month and I'll have pics up. After cruising gunbroker.com and reading the reviews I figured this is THE handgun for me...15 rounds of .45 ACP

. Threaded barrel so I can put a suppressor on it once I get NFA'ed

Nice!!! Get back safe, I may be going to Afghanistan (Kabul) for 3 months, I have only been to Iraq and that was last year for 6 months. How is it going out there?

I am getting CLOSER to getting this fine fighting pistol (FNH FNP 45 Tactical). Should have the funds by tomorrow and all I need to do is get it FFL'ed to my gun store. BTW, yes that is a red dot scope on top...it doesn't come with one, but the slide comes with a cut-out so you can put a Docter Optic red dot on it. The barrel is threaded for a suppressor and yes I am getting one once I set up my NFA trust.  .45 Caliber with three 15 rounds magazines

It comes with the nice bag pictured below. Costs about the same as a Kimber around $1k.

I can vouch for Keltec from my personal experience.  I carry a 1st generation hard chromed P32 as my BUG(BackUpGun), as far as I know it is the lighest commerically avaliable .32ACP in market.  Having played with both the P32 and the P3AT, size and weight is very minimal.  My .32 goes bang everytime I squeeze the trigger, I practice with it at 7yrds max hitting center mass damn near everytime, whether its single shots or mag dumps.  With such a short barrel trying to hit anything beyond 15yds accurate would require some Godly skills.  Another option is the Ruger LCP which is also $280 from aimsurplus.com, though the first batch of LCPs did have a lot of problems I think Ruger has fixed the bugs in the design.

I don't know about that one champ. If your buying from a private dealer, but I live in VA (one of most lax regulated states regarding firearm purchases) and everything I've bought at gunshows I've had to have license and they do the background check (takes 5-10 minutes).
