It's not a question of who is on the team, but the collective attitude of the team. They all just look like they don't give a $+$# ondefense and then they've even gotten lazy in running their offense.
Honestly it has to start at the top with Phil coaching like he doesn't care, he's way too nonchalant and should get on the team when they don't putforth any effort. Then Kobe is out there on defense freelancing and not closing out on shooters or clamping down on people. I'm tired of people saying whatseparates him from other great players is that he plays defense; that's 100% BS. Right now he is and has been a liability on the defensive end becausehe's lazy as hell and undisciplined. I
How is he the unquestioned leader of the team and he puts forth that $+$# effort on defense? I would tell him to get on the rest of the team for their baddefense, but he needs to get his $+$# together before he can tell other people what to do. Watching the team the past few games, they look like they did ingame 6 of the Finals. Just listless and lazy, no emotion whatsoever. Kobe is out there like he's in a contest to show as little emotion as possible (unlessAYE-ing about a foul that didn't get called). It's sad when Pau Gasol has been the only one that has seemed to actually give a damn the past few weeks.

You know. These sort of threads should be password protected. Like. People who have some sort of reasoning behind their post, or are proven fans of either teamon the court should be allowed in.
