This wasn't a game where they had to "close out" tho...they were behind all the way until the last 5 minutes.

Good game tonight. Wish the Knicks could've held onto the lead though, but given their lean rotation they often lose it in the 2nd half.

Damn, the Laker fans worried about these games and the anti-Lakers crowd calling them out for not being a great looking team...
The LA Lakers are now 21-3. They have four months of straight basketball ahead of them. Phil Jackson and the coaching staff will be preaching defense andimproving the triangle nonstop, so they'll likely improve. They may not look elite now, but a lot will change with four months. It does with every team.
As for the Knicks, I can't wait for them to get good. I'm sick of the 2010 talk but I can't wait to see what it brings to NY. But chill out, theyare NOT that good now. I felt like the Lakers were still in this game when they were down 15.
