Clyde's suits would be less ridiculous with some regular shirts and ties. Everything can't be on a hunna-thou. But I'm not hating. Legendary status gives him a lifetime pass.

Naw it just takes a long time because the h.r departments move very slow. A lot of it is referral though but if you can get in without one. What kind of position are you looking to get? Or are you open to all departments

Well i dont have any experience in the medical field. Im down to do anything building services, food aide etc. im just trying to save up to take classes

Gotcha when applying keep an open mind and don't be narrow minded in terms of what job you apply for.

Something like the link below is a good way to get in because most females don't take these jobs and most people wont refer their friends to them because they honestly require the most labor in the department. Its a good start point because you can get in and work for a year then transfer in the hospital to something that suits you better. You will gain contacts while you are moving around because you will be required most likely to deliver things to supervisors or directors etc.

I am no way affiliated to this hospital but it was the first one that came up. They usually dont have any experience requirements but Sloan pays well in relation to the other hospitals in the area. You can always look at similar positions in other hospitals and other departments but this is something I know most people can get into.

Hope i was able to help a little bit

I have a good friend who's doing well for himself at UMDNJ and he started as a patient volunteer with a stipend, which was basically moving patients around the hospital. Then Took radiology classes and advanced into that department.

At my job, it's more about who you know. They're very big on referrals.

Same at my job and a majority of the postings stay in house.

Do you happen to know where he took those radiology classes at?

Essex County College for the initial certification and ill have to ask about where he took his advanced courses.

Yea here you aren't getting any highly desirable job unless you know someone. Even the food services and building services get taken by referrals because everyone knows about them. You have to take the odd jobs like moving patients as a transporter, delivering medical supplies or something like the lab aid i posted because there is a high turnover. No one really wants them but they are a great foot in the door.

Yeah i figured as much. A lot of the more laborious jobs do not require much skill so Im sure its more word of mouth in the hospitals. Unfortunately Im going in naked, as I dont have any hospital connections. Ive applied to presbytarian, langone, hhc, some random offices, its frustrating cause I know people are getting in through referrals, but im realizing thats how the field works. Its not that im underqualified, literally anyone can do these oddjobs, but just sucks I have much lower of a chance.

We've heaped a ton of praise on KP and Melo but for the first time, in a long time, we're getting contribution almost across the board. Melo passing because he knows there are players he can trust. What a time.

Trust is the key to why Melo's playing possibly the best all around basketball of his career. His defense is also looking pretty good as well. We have a full team of guys who can contribute. Things are only looking to get better.

The team kind of collapsed without Melo last night, but it was good they built that cushion before he went out. So maybe this could wind up being a positive for them. To learn to play without him against 2 terrible teams and a .500 one. This could help going forward for situations where Melo gets in foul trouble or gets hurt again in the future. Also if players can successfully step up in bigger roles, they could get even more confidence too. I think it could be a good experience to learn to play without depending on him.
