The team kind of collapsed without Melo last night, but it was good they built that cushion before he went out. So maybe this could wind up being a positive for them. To learn to play without him against 2 terrible teams and a .500 one. This could help going forward for situations where Melo gets in foul trouble or gets hurt again in the future. Also if players can successfully step up in bigger roles, they could get even more confidence too. I think it could be a good experience to learn to play without depending on him.
All of this....and I'm looking forward to seeing Grant develop even more. Loved the Calderon & Grant pairing out there for the second half....Galloway cool but he's not really a PG, he's kinda like Patrick Beverley with lower IQ

DONT FORGET TO VOTE MELO AND KP TO THE ALL STAR GAME ALSO! COUPLE MORE DAYS LEFT BEFORE VOTING FINISH IF DRUMMOND WITH HIS SUB 30% FT SHOOTING GETS IN OVER MELO TO START IMA BE PISSED

Really proud of Grant last night. Good for him. And in his post game interview he kept saying the one important word that has been his achilles' heel this season: confidence.

Btw I was at the game with my girl last night, she got tickets on my bday in December but we waited til we were on break from school to go. It's funny cuz at the time she got them the Knicks were playing like absolute trash, but it's nice that it worked out that they're in their best stretch of basketball right now.

I sat in the lower bowl and it felt a bit like the opera down there. A ton of celtics fans in attendance and when they started getting loud I reacted b and started acting ignorant. And speaking of ignorant Mayweather was in attendance :lol We had a nice Boston sucks chant toward the end which completed my night :hat

Then we smashed. Shout out johnnyredstorm johnnyredstorm

sup guys. its been a while since i've been in here...

REALLY good win last night. we needed that more than most realize. it wasnt just bc we need a win, but bc we won, role players like grant and dwill improved their confidence. if we had lost, guarantee the feeling would be "we suck without melo". its almost a blessing in disguise that KP fouled out. bc that gave grant a chance to step up and get his confidence back.

we really need grant to play well bc i cant stand watching caldo out there on the floor. hes more of a ball stopper than melo bc he dribbles around for about 14 seconds before setting up a play or even just passing in general.

So was Williams basket hanging or hustling last night. I think he got 2 full court passes from Grant last night! :rollin

We get it b. You have a girlfriend. And have sex.

:lol

love the job posting we got going on here. keep em coming. i need one at the moment

Tim Hardaway Jr.'s career high for assists in a game is 5.

Jerian Grant had 6 in the 4th quarter last night.

Im looking for a job also, my last job was in a hospital working in HHC on a non-clinical temp position, trying to land something similar right now

Melo's likely out tonight but said he should return for Saturday's game

For those looking for jobs in the medical field at least around here January is the best time to get in because budgets open up for the new year. At the end of the year there is usually a freeze

Team is coming together nicely, I can only complain about how many games it took. Basically half the season, but Fisher has definitely made some adjustments in his coaching.

Melo deserves that All-Star starting spot, but I also know he will be there regardless, cause the coaches will vote him in. To me that's more of an achievement then getting voted. He's definitely shut me up and has looked like a great teammate to KP and has become a little bit of an actual leader in my eyes. I love the way he's playing. Passing ability has surprised me sometimes. Defense is obviously been strong too.

I hope Melo is o.k. and can be back for the MLK game. Would be kind of disappointed if he didn't play being I have tix to the game. :{

KP the truth.

Hope Grant can get back into rhythm after last night. He was great for us early this season.

Calderon hasn't been half bad also. Very reliable, but still a major weakness on defense. Young fast guards love to see Calderon.

See what a semi decent team will do to fans. Even Caldo gettin love! But yeah he still sucks, but you can deal with it if we're winning!

would be huge if we could win 5 of our next 6:

@ BKN, @ MEM, vs PHI, vs UTA, vs LAC, @ CHA

Winning tonight without Melo is the type of game when we look back at the end of the season will be the difference between the playoffs. Got to be resourceful and find a way. KP needs to step up, Grant needs to continue to feed off of last night as well.

I think some of those vets need to step up, namely Affalafflolo and Caldarone. If he can do what he did last night but stay out of foul trouble he'll have more than met the rookie expectations. Get some extra production outta the bench. Don't get me wrong if KP wanna score fiddy and twelve I won't be mad :rollin

MEM and LAC are going to be tough. I say we go 4-6.

I'm leaning more toward 3-3, but I'm feeling optimistic.
