Go in the Laker Season thread, though, and you'll see that there are very few Laker fans that actually think the Nuggets zero chance.
It's mainly other folks that are talking about sweeps or LAL in 5 or whatever.
Personally (and it seems like I say this every day in a different thread), there are no seeds in the Western Conference playoffs; there are only 8 teams playing each other in 4 different best-of-7 series. That's it. The West is so competitive this year that the seeds don't matter to me one bit.
Yup i said earlier in this thread...usually the 1st seed is like 20 games better than the 8th seed...look at last year mavs won 67 games and warriorswon 42....this year the lakers are only 7 games better than the nuggets...any other year the 4th or 5th seed would probably be 7 games worse than the 1st..soits kinda like the lakers r playing a 4th or 5th seed..

Iverson has always been one of my favorite players in the league, and I understand the difference between flopping and acting, but he does both.
For me, flopping is when the other player is at no fault whatsoever; acting is when the other player is at very minimal fault.
If I did NOT push you at ALL and you go flying backwards, you just flopped.
If I pushed you a TINY bit... but still not anything that should be called a foul, because the contact was well within the parameters of the game, even if itwas TECHNICALLY against the rules... and you go flying backwards, you've just acted.
Or instead of pushing, I'll use a handcheck.
Say I swipe at the ball and I do not touch your arm at ALL, but you get that sour lemon face and hold your hand like I just broke it... that would be likeflopping.
Say I swipe at the ball and I barely graze your arm, nothing serious, but replay shows that maybe my pinky and ring finger slightly touched your wrist, and youget that sour lemon face and hold your hand like I just broke it... that would be acting.
For me... and I repeat again (not like it matters, because those of you that are going to say I hate Denver or Iverson aren't going to believe me anyways),I love Iverson and always have... he does both.
