I really like the deal. Volquez hasn't been great, and Haren has been getting more wins recently than Haren. I always like to compare deals based on thebest players involved. And out of those 4 you got the best two in Haren and Ramirez easily.

I am 13-4 and I had only been using Lidge really, until Saito got hurt. And I grabbed Broxton.

But one guy has all closers. And someone has all starters and both are going to be in the playoffs. With closers. They give you the chance to score insaneamount of points. Because if a few go off for 4 saves.

I thought I really needed the help, as Tejada was going down quick. Hamels and Haren as close. Just Haren has been better of late. BJ and Volquez.

The trade did get 4 objections. So it goes to the CBSsportsline.com commissioner. Praying that goes through. I could use some money.

EDIT- Got turned DOWN by the cpmmish. Now I am trying Hamels,Ryan and Tejada for Hanley.

OKAY, I HAVE TO RANT.

So far this season, I have been in 1st place this whole time. Every season, EVERY SEASON, towards the end of the regular season (and near fantasy playofftime), i ALWAYS get injuries to my star players. SAME THING THIS SEASON!!

Couple weeks ago - Carlos Lee, Evan Longoria, Tim Hudson (although not as valuable as other pitchers, but still solid).

Today - Ian Kinsler.

I swear I have the worst luck.



On the bright side, I'm still first, ahead 9.5 games, with Morneau, and Hanley Ramirez anchoring my team. Wish me luck.

Melvin Mora has done wonders for my time, and Wigginton homers everytime I drop him.

Yeah I hate dropping a player right before he goes out and starts killing the ball. I just did that recently with Delgado and missed out on his homer binges. Mora I had to drop in one of my leagues because I couldnt wait for his injury to heal.
