A first game loss against the mets all because of stinky +%# wellemeyer............ive been saying for the past 2 years that they need to get rid of him.........Brad Thompson seems more than able to take his place if we can ever get Lohse back.
At least we wont see beltran this series............we need to keep teams from scoring early and Peniero and Wellemeyer are not the best pitchers to be asking that from......Its sad really.
I completely agree, Wellemeyer is absolute trash and Peniero has returned to his garbage bin nature. We need to drop both of these guys fast. Lastnights game was painful to stomach
No doubt. Kerry got us two saves - lol. I went to the Fathers Day game....very nice to see hard luck Wells finally get one.Originally Posted by CP1708
Well, at least this one wasn't Kerry's fault.
Glad Wells finally got his first win, he deserves like 5 so far this season.
Dude is unreal. Hate the team, but respect THAT player!Originally Posted by arstyle27

Very nice to see Milton Bradley paying dividends. And Derrek Lee has been en fuego.Originally Posted by tylerdub
Well, suddenly it is fun to be a Cubs fan again. I called Milton Bradley a bum when I was down in Houston at a game. I am sure that is what has him motivated for this hitting streak!
Derrek is carrying this team right now. He is seeing and hitting so well.
I love/hate the ups and downs of a long baseball season.
Co-signs! It should be tradition for us to bash Pineiro and Wellemeyer before they start. Brad Thompson better deliver tonight, looks like Lohseis moving closer to a return. A win is a win and I will take them anyway we can get them.Originally Posted by pacmagic2002
Maybe me and FB need to !++*+ about Pineiro`s inconsistent pitching a little more...........every time i say something negative, this cat comes in with a complete game shut-out.
Not an entertaining game, but albert with 2 more RBI and Joel with the complete game 2 hit shut-out.
PLUS
Brewers are loosing 7-3
Cubs lost in the 9th
Reds lost
Pirates lost
Stro`s are up against greinke in the 7th down 2-1
Sucky night for the NL central as a whole.......but the cards won...........
Doesnt matter what we say about this dude......even when he wins he still sucks. Brad should stay in the lineup when Lohse comesback.............but knowing TLR, he`ll keep him in just like he kept putting Izzy in to close the games out knowing he was gonna loose.Originally Posted by FIRST B0RN

Yea i know.....I only hope and prey that he stays in the cardinal red his entire career...........which is almost going to be virtually impossible to do if we cant compete year in and year out.
When/If he does changes teams.....i think it will honestly be the saddest day in Saint Louis Cardinals history for me, and most of STL.
