Why?
He's always struck me as a D-Wade lite.
D-Wade lite?
He seems like a good complimentary guy who can play either wing position. I see nothing in the dude that suggests teams should be trading up for his services though.
This.

I like T-Dub, don't get me wrong, but I don't think anyone should be giving up the farm to come up and get him.

He'll be a good player though. Versatile player.

There are reports that Rubio is working out right now in Sacramento.

[h5]June 22, 2009[/h5]
Rubio back in Sacramento today

The Ricky Rubio red flags continue to fall, as the news that his buyout situation is almost resolved is followed by news that the Spanish point guard will work out in Sacramento today.

I've been told by a source close to Rubio that the above report is accurate, that he will fly from Los Angeles to Sacramento today and get on the floor to give the Kings a taste of what could be to come. This comes on the same day on which the Kings have their last scheduled workout, as Pittsburgh's Sam Young heads a group today that consists mostly of late first round or second round prospects.

To review, Rubio didn't work out during his Sacramento visit last week after getting sick and eventually visiting with Oklahoma City (which picks third) in LA.

I hope he blows their mind so the Kings will do anything possible to trade up for the pick.

It's a firm reality too, the 2-8 picks are really a toss-up at this point, it's not really like there's much set in stone.
Henderson, Williams Have 2nd WorkoutIn Charlotte
The Bobcats had Gerald Henderson and Terrence Williams in for a second workout on Monday.
Williams told reporters in New Jersey on Friday that he was done with workouts, but Charlotte was obviously able to persuade him to change his plans.

Henderson and Williams took the floor together for a combined workout.

Take Henderson Bobcats, because then we MAYYY have a shot at Williams. I'd take Henderson too, but no way he's slipping to us.

Flynn is going anywhere from 4-10 imo. Also, whoever takes Tyler Hansbrough in the lottery is getting booed by their fans to the maximum.

+%++ here's my mock draft for the moment

Tried taking into account best player available, team needs and all the rumored promises.

I wouldn't be surprised if he fell. People were saying the same thing about Gerald Green and Omar Cook.

I tried fitting Jennings onto a lottery team, but couldn't. He's not going to NY if Curry is available, Holiday is supposedly higher on the draftboard than Jennings on the Bucks' board, Nets and Pacers need forwards more than PGs and James Johnson is higher on the Suns' board. Then there'sthe rumor his stock is dropping at the moment. Either way, I know my mock is going to look completely different than the actual Draft

So basically he should fall then.

Why?
Super-athletic, highly talented shooting guard... ?

Been missing that since Finley was in his prime... The biggest thing this team needs, IMO... Starting Antoine Wright all year again?

Pass.

And since I assume Kidd will be back, Williams also seems like a guy that would thrive with with that kinda point guard...

I don't like the options the Mavs look to have available to them at 22... Jeff Teague, Terrence Williams, BJ Mullens... Trade up and go get somebodyathletic...

1. Clippers: Brandon Jennings
2. Memphis: Steph Curry
3. OK City: Jeff Teague
4. Sacramento: Ricky Rubio
5. Washington: Blake Griffin
6: Minnesota: Tyler Hansbrough
7. Golden State: Wayne Ellington
8. New York: Taylor Griffin

And there you have it... The Knicks with the steal of the draft

Maybe so, but I'm not a fan anyway. I like Flynn, Lawson over him.

EDIT: FOR PHILLY, just in case somebody takes this outta context.

I'm prolly in the minority here, but this draft sucks to me. You've got Blake Griffin and... who? They're all major question marks after Griffin.
