OFFICIAL 2010-2011 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD : VOL. MOST. ANTICIPATED. PLAYOFFS. EVER?

^I have a feeling, for Big Ben its either Detroit or retirement....

The Nuggets are Zach Randolph away from being a serious threat in the West.

K-Mart's terrible contract will be off the books, and they can sign Z-Bo this offseason, I'd be a believer instantly.

but I have a feeling this is old news. If I were Rubio I would just hold Kaaaaahn hostage till he turns the team from "very salvageable" to "mediocre-ly competitive". No point in wasting time on a cruddy team, plus I view him as kind of a Rondo-esque player. He will need to have good teammates/team to be able to showcase his full talent and potential, otherwise playing on this current T'Wolves will just expose him.

Kurt Rambis, Timberwolves: Rambis, not the best communicator or the feistiest general on the sideline, will have to make some changes to bolster belief in some segments of the organization that he's the right long-term fit. The choice of a successor to Phil Jackson in L.A. certainly plays into it, but Rambis appears to have developed the talent he's been given well enough to warrant coming back. The organization is pleased with the fact that Rambis was able to get through to the headstrong Kevin Love and resurrect the career of Michael Beasley -- the latter being no small task. In view of that, and with indications that Ricky Rubio has informed GM David Kahn that he plans to be in Minnesota next season barring a lockout, one industry source characterized Rambis' situation as "very salvageable."

pretty much
This would be great. We also "surpassed" Cleveland as the worst record in the league tonight, so if we lose out we can secure the best chance at #1.

BUT....we Minnesotans know our luck in the lottery...

Good job Hornets.
I wasn't thinking when I wanted ya'll to lose. Now, we can clinch on Friday against Sacramento.

Ya'll can stay 7th against LAL. Win, win situation.

@ OKC only being a game back from Dallas for 3rd with a win tonight and a loss tonight from Dallas.

These last few games are going to be hilarious to see if anyone will tank games.
I'm so tired of seeing Golden State and Milwaukee on national TV.

Not really the point but alright? Every player has a sequence in which they go through to shoot a FT, take that away they lose their flow and rhythm.
Oh and FYI Dwight shoots well above 50% almost 10% higher.

The T's Dwight get are ridiculous cause I see literally every other stat do the same/if not more than him and they aren't even getting hacked like he is...Dude really gets as a raw deal as anyone with how he gets treated by refs.

You'd think when Pau is 7/9, Bynum is 3/3, they'd feed it to their bigs more...

Also, Kobe is 6/13, which in reality means he's more like 10/13, so why not feed him more too?

Fisher has no right taking 7 shots.

You have to actually see the game man, yeah he's 7/9 but he's getting punked out there plain and simple. Dude is getting the ball taken from him my Lou like it was a toy.

Bynum yes, but Pau ain't exactly instilling confidence with his soft play out there.

Lakers just can't buy a a shot, doesn't matter though, these guys just want to get to next weekend at this point, we're locked into the 2 seed anyway.

In what sense? Pau has only one turnover, and 7 rebounds. No, I'm not watching the game, but I got a guy 7/9 I'm going to keep feeding him.

I understand what you're saying, but it's better than Fish or bench bums chucking, ain't it?

If Lee/Monta/Steph can play this way consistently..

.

These last two games have been really impressive by those three. Now get some consistency from your Center and have Dorell step his game up, get a few bench guys who can help out, and maybe the Warriors can be relevant.
