Kidd leaving was one thing... He wanted out & it was turning ugly quick. If we didn't trade him it would've been a disaster... He basically forced his way out. But I don't mind that deal because we got Devin back... He's someone who was perfect at the time (& if we add the right pieces now can still be part of the future). I have no issues with that deal.
VC we gave away for nothing to clear his contract... Same with RJ. Yea these players had some sort of potential (Yi & CLee), but it wasn't a gurantee. What was a gurantee was giving away 2 stars in 2 straight offseasons. All this was hoping for a big player coming here or hoping for potential.
Here we go again... TWill isn't a star like the last couple players I named... But he had a ton of potential & we didn't give anthing up for him, we drafted him. Instead someone who has a ton of potential & could be a part of a nice young core for the future, we deal him for a potential Melo deal. Again we're hoping he comes here.
