Caron had games of 22, 17, 17, 35, and 25. He had an off game with only 2 points, sure, but that's DAMN consistent.

Last year he actually stepped up VERY well in the Playoffs.

Why didn't we win last year?

We couldn't play a lick of damn defense.

You can sit here and talk about our inefficiencies on offense all you want. We have guys for that. Someone isn't on, we got 3 other guys who will gladly fill in that persons shoes. We haven't even had probably our second-most dynamic player last year in Beaubois and we're still second in the West right now.

The difference this year is our defense. We're holding teams to low scores. We're doing things on DEFENSE and that leads to our offense.

Don't give me crap that we lost last year because we couldn't score. That's a bunch of crap. The reason we lost is because we couldn't stop George Hill, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili.

Each game was close, then they put the clamps on us, and George Hill and Manu killed us.

I hope to see a MAVS vs LA match up in the second round of the playoffs. Just for entertainment purposes is all.

The SPURS need to lock the 1 seed to make this happen. Still a lot of basketball left to be played.

Kevin Martin getting a lot of love around here. But I still think he would be a third option on a championship caliber team. The Mavs need a play maker at the end of fourth quarters that can either create for Dirk or score on his own. I don't know if even Iggy can fulfill that role consistently. Maybe if JET and Butler rolled into one player.

He and Belinelli combine for about 7-20 on average and Thornton can't get minutes because of his defense? Let's get real.
