I agree, Jason Richardson won't have a problem, and Hedo SHOULDN'T. It's Gil that confuses me, and they're weak up front now.

SHUGHES, come on dude, you're better than that...

JO was one of the best Power Forwards in his prime.

I ain't even fronting, the guy was legit, and VERY skillful.

Don't know if you were just trying to be funny, but don't hate on JO like that.

Speaking about player development, Hecker talked about how little NBAteams get a chance to practice, saying that there's almost no5-on-5 scrimmaging during the season, especially for a veteran teamlike the Spurs.
That?

I didn't watch the game, so I don't know what happened...

But 3 points on 1-5 shooting may as well be a DNPCD.

And condolences to Willie Green.

Sad to hear what happened to Green's 2 family members.

...

JO was someone you could build a team around when he was in his prime. Him & Reggie together were a great duo... Consistant runs in the playoffs. JO brought it with scoring (nice midrange game, with nice postup moves, & that fadeaway) defense, & rebounding. I still think when healthy he can be a solid player to help the Celtics.

He gets to the line, sure, but I don't want to ruin what we got right now.

Plus, we're short on bigs if we lose Haywood, and that's reportedly what the Rockets want.

Jason Terry can knock down big shots, and has been playing consistent defense, I don't know that Kevin Martin would.

Plus, K-Mart is an eye-sore on defense. Caron Butler is a much better defender, much bigger, stronger. Kevin would get abused.
I honestly think Dallas needs to pull an Orlando and gut the team. What exactly is it that you "don't want to ruin"? Another regular season championship? A stud secondary scorer like K-Mart is what the Mavs have been lacking for years. Dallas' most consistent secondary scorer since Dirk's been there is JASON TERRY. Now, I like JET. But he's a rich man's Bobby Jackson. And at worst, he's the equivalent of Mo Williams.

I just don't see Dallas winning a chip as currently constructed.

And yeah JA, JO has never been one of my favorite players.

Eh when he is healthy he still isn't the same player he was in his prime.... Its a bummer cuz he's not even really all that old. His knees are taking the route of Abdur-Rahim's. Its just a matter of time

Well, I posted that on December 17th, and he shot 1-5 on December 19th...

I just don't see Kevin Martin as our KG, Pau Gasol, or whatever piece you'd like to call it that would put us over the top.

Our 1, 4, and 5 spots are solid right now, I can't complain.

And the 2/3 spots split between Caron, Beaubois when healthy, Marion, and JET?

I can live with that.

Unless we're getting someone like Iguodala, I don't see us getting any high profile players like Kevin Martin that would put us over the top.
