Not to say it's wrong or right but his system constricts their development and game so much it's gotta be extremely frustrating for them.  Felton was a perfect example because as bad as Augustin was playing last year, he still had to look over his back if he made a bad pass or took a bad shot that DJ would still be put in the game.  Look at what Antoni's offense and the fact that he's not looking over his shoulder and can play his game has done for him.  Veterans + a group of guys who put winning and defense at the forefront of their games.  Plus, it ain't exactly like the executive making these moves has tried to put the best team he can together...

agreed.  He's VERY stubborn.  He's just as much at fault, or even the MOST at fault for the Olympic debacle in Athens.

His team has tuned him out.

Chris is going to sign a max deal where ever he goes. Someone might over pay for him too.

Houston also creeping up on that 8th seed out West........

Trust, could you please post my thoughts on the game last night?  What did I think, what did I enjoy seeing?  Did I miss anything?  I'll proof read it when I check in later, thanks.

5-1 without Roy eh?  Why not sit him longer then.......At some point, they have to make a decision.  Do they try to incorporate him, or leave him out and let the team play as is.  Tricky issue.

Nets structuring new deal for Anthony

The Denver Nuggets and New Jersey Nets are advancing on another complicated multiteam trade proposal that would likely fit Carmelo Anthony’s criteria for signing a contract extension with the Nets, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Anthony is inclined to accept a trade and contract extension with New Jersey over his preferred choice of New York only if the Nets are able to bring back a package of significant talent with him, league sources involved in the talks said on Monday.

So far, there are trade scenarios that include a combination of Anthony’s Denver teammates – including forward Al Harrington – and other league players coming to the Nets.

“The way this is structured now, the Nets will significantly upgrade their team,

Interesting, if the talks between New York and Denver aren't going anywhere, I could see Anthony settling on NJ just to get this extension signed and be done with it. I don't think they'll be that good though. Harris, Morrow, Anthony, Harrington, and Lopez, doesn't wow me, I'm sure they'd try to make more moves but initially I'm not impressed.

Another part of that which "worries" me, obviously more than Melo not going to the Knicks, is the part saying J.R. Smith to Chicago. Putting him alongside Rose would be pretty dangerous.

How was Dunleavy's tip not offensive basket interference

They said on NBAtv that it's basket interference if the rim is supporting the ball. If the ball is touching the rim but the rim is no longer supporting the ball, you can touch it, like Dunleavy did.
