OFFICIAL 2010-2011 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD : VOL. MOST. ANTICIPATED. PLAYOFFS. EVER?

As a Bulls fan I personally want Mayo if the prices are similar.
OJ may be mercurial but JR is flat out dumb.
Mayo is a more consistant shooter who with Rose will get a ton of looks and reduce the need for Korver being on the floor as much.
He also makes Brewer tradable.
Memphis might not take Brewer back, but JR's issues in this city might get magnified.

He heard the rumors about being traded for Melo and thought "I'll be damned. See who wants me after I tell them my injury is back for now, and for the long-term, it's 'something I'm going to have to deal with.' Yeah, trade me now, Buss."

laugh.gif

It !@$!! me up that he's only 23. Shouldn't he be retiring in a couple years? Ol functioning Eddy Curry %*#.

I would like to see Stephen Jackson in Chicago. He would bring in experience, versatility, toughness, shooting and defense.

Mayo in Chicago would be cool, but him and Rose in the backcourt would get ate up on the defensive end.

Rose has been better, and Mayo has the skills if not the coaching. the only issue would be guys like Kobe and Wade, and some of the pg's. OJ can take some of Rose's matchups though
Its not ideal but its better than Stephen Jackson or JR Smith.

If Jackson was younger and more importantly, cheaper, he would be the right choice.

Doo when your team goes to back to back to back NBA finals, guys are going to have nagging injuries that bother them. They don't have the time in the off-season to rest and heal up. But I can understand why a Spurs fan would be confused by that. One and done is more the norm out there.

I don't see how OJ would be better than Jackson when he's more of liabilty defensively? IMO, Jackson is the perfect fit there. That would also suck for OJ to STILL not dominate the ball with Rose in the backcourt. He'll still be a spot up shooter.

i would like to have captain Jack alongside rose. He would give us a big 2 guard that can post up, defend, and shoot
