OFFICIAL 2010-2011 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD : VOL. MOST. ANTICIPATED. PLAYOFFS. EVER?

The three really strong teams in the West are Dallas, Lakers, and San Antonio. Two of those three teams rely on their freakishly huge front-lines to help them out. Dallas with Marion, Dirk, Tyson, Haywood, Mahinmi. Dallas can match-up with pretty much anyone. There are nights when Haywood doesn't play, there are nights when Mahinmi won't play. Same goes with Lakers. The Celtics HAD that luxury when they had Perkins. Giving him up for his contract doesn't really make sense... Jeff Green will be up for an extension too.

Jesus......

A, Perk is up in 3 months dude.  Green is up after next season.  They don't need to even pay him til Ray is off the books, and KG and Pierce are a year closer.  This buys them time.  Perk was up NOW.  Get it?

And how on Earth do you figure that Tyson and the rest of those dudes is some clear cut advantage over Shaq/JO/KG/Davis/Murphy and even Green can play the 4.  (as he did in OKC)  That Dallas frontline isn't gonna do a damn thing over Boston.  Hell, you even put in Marion, so I guess I can include Pierce as well.  I win.

I'll rather wait til' we play them again though before I bring anything up.

For Kiddin to smile at:

PF Humphries 36 minutes, 17 rebounds
SF Jones 27 minutes, 7 rebounds
PG Williams 35 minutes, 3 rebounds
Off the bench
SF Outlaw 27 minutes, 4 rebounds
SG Vujacic 30 minutes, 4 rebounds
C Petro 10 minutes, 3 rebounds.

Starting Center Brook Lopez 37 minutes, 2 rebounds........

More minutes than everybody, fewer rebounds than everybody......  He must be the box out guy so his teammates can get the ball, right?

Yes which means he can't go anywhere without Boston being able to control the situation.  They had no control over Perk whatsoever 4 months from now.

My goodness where is KLJ?
Hornets commentators just said "Here's Mike Conley playing an all-star level lately."

edit:

Looks like David West just twisted an ankle. Doesn't look good.
