Sources have told us that Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are targeting two underclassmen cornerbacks in this draft; Brandon Harris of Miami and Patrick Peterson from LSU.  Different sources have told us if the draft were held today the Cowboys would look to move up and grab Peterson, while Harris is a second choice they’d be happy with.
im with moving up to grab PP. But im not really big on drafting Harris

Move up to get Patrick Peterson
Keep newman and jenkins. sign nnamdi

-Jake Locker has yet to impress. He continued with his inconsistent accuracy and checked down during 7-on-7′s on a regular basis. Locker hasn’t made any big impressions on anyone and continues to raise questions. He was considered a potential number one overall pick, but has only gotten worse since then. At this point, he doesn’t even look like a first-rounder out there.
-If it weren’t for Jordan, Christian Ballard would be stealing the show. He’s put on an impressive performance and regularly has won his matchups.
-Colin Kaepernick has been the most impressive of the North quarterbacks. Despite his long, awkward release, he is the only quarterback that has shown a willingness to go downfield with his reads and he has done so with success. Kaepernick has launched some really ugly passes that include overthrows and ducks on the short routes, but he’s working hard and really putting in all of the effort. After every mistake, Kaepernick can be seen going to the coaching staff and trying to not make the same mistake twice.
Jake Locker sucks? Suprise

Ballard is better than Clayborn at least he will be as a pro IMO

Why are so many people SO down on Clayborn just because he didn't have as dominant a year while he was getting double and triple teamed almost the whole time this past year? Put this dude next to Gerald McCoy and Brian Price next year with him facing only one blocker most the time and he's going to do some damage. I'll be happy with either him or Kerrigan.
No, Ballard is a better prospect to me no matter what Clayborn did this year. Ballard is a freak of nature who needs to develop. Clayborn is good and skilled but upside is low. I just have a preference for guys like that. You really think Clayborn is a good fit for the Tampa 2?

i really saw him as a better Pennington to be honest, (arm strength wise that is). Decent. can put a little zip on it. can go out and win you games. he is just looking terrible tho, the pressure is killing this guy. Looks completely different from his break out season... sucks to be the guy. went from a number 1 pick to a late 1st pick. (i say late 1st and not a true second because teams are desperate and will take him)

with the way he has been performing, i'm starting to doubt he even makes it into the first round (if guys like clausen and mccoy can drop to where they did.. yes i know that, that was a better draft.. but still)

also with the way he is looking, it's GREAT news for the eagles.. we should get pretty good value for kolb, since like you said teams are desperate

I'm hoping arizona and 49ers get into a bidding war and one of them offers something crazy

I think Locker will show up in the game as opposed to practice but I am not seeing all of these "tools" people claims he has.  His sporadic accuracy reminds me of Brady Quinn.

On Locker....
MOBILE, Ala. — The criticisms of Jake Locker weren't inaccurate after the first day of practice for Saturday's Senior Bowl.

They were, however, incomplete. Because after he was erratic on Monday, Locker was pretty darn exceptional during the North team practice on Tuesday.

"Things happened better for him today than they did yesterday," said Ken Zampese, the Bengals' quarterbacks coach.

Cincinnati's staff is coaching Locker's North team this week. On Monday afternoon, Locker had one pass intercepted and another tipped in addition to a number of passes he fired high.

On Tuesday, he was not only more consistently on target, but he showed an ability to vary his throws depending on the receiver's route, putting air under a pass headed to a receiver on a go route and putting the ball on a line for a route toward the sidelines.

Of the six quarterbacks here for the Senior Bowl, Locker is the only one widely considered to have first-round potential, a fact that clearly stood out during Tuesday's practice.

Locker benefited from familiarity with the targets he was throwing to as well as his flexibility when it came to suggestions offered by the Bengals coaches.

"He doesn't have any preconceived notions that it's got to be like this or that," Zampese said. "No, no. He's ready to soak it all up, and that's going to serve him well as he goes, because the only way you get better is to jump in with both feet. You can't go in and fight something. You've got to go full in."

Locker will be fine...And that's not based off of this article.

Yea it is based off your unbiased opinion right?

I guess the fact that he is consistently high on his throws, misses wide open receivers even when he isnt pressured, and is always good for a couple ground balls a game is no big deal.
