I believe in spring training. It looks horrible
I'm rooting for him to continue to grow the stache and keep it the entire season. That would be awesome...Although, his pitching is a different story.

its actually not a bad game to watch today, i believe that we kept Zito a little bit too long there. Zito was struggling the whole game. the stache...looks actually ok ha ha ha if that made sense. i stop watching when the CARDS took the lead.

Once he walked Holliday after getting Pujols out, I would have yanked him.

The commentators Krukow and Kuiper are LEGENDS for SF Giants. They have been commentating for the Giants since the early 90's I believe. Basically my whole life I have seen them on TV commentating for the Giants. Giants fans love Kruk and Kuip....and because they are legendary, they got their rings and I think well-deserved too.

Major League teams (and any championship team for that matter) has to pay for any additional ring not covered by the league.  They can choose how many rings to buy and give them out to whoever they want.  It is not uncommon for a championship teams announcer to get a ring.

On a side note, there is a $10 raffle to get a Giants WS ring for yourself.  The winner will actually have his name on it too in the same spot that players have their names.  Pretty cool.  Giants are going all out with our first title in SF.

Every member of the organization (Players and Front Office) gets a ring, they also offer the rings to part time staff for below cost.  Most teams also have a "fan" ring, which is similar to the one's that players get but not quite like it.  A majority of teams distribute rings to long time season ticket holders and suite holders.

Kuiper and Krukow are employed by the Giants, so they do get a ring.  Most broadcasters are employed by the team, not the network with the exception of the NFL (some teams do have local broadcast teams).  For example: Vin Scully, Jaime Jarrin, Charlie Steiner, etc. are employed by the Dodgers and not FSN.  Chick Hearn (RIP), Stu Lantz, etc. were employed by the Lakers.

Fan rings are pretty common, I understand it's a new concept to those in the Bay Area,

Just an interesting factoid-  It is up to the team, but employees usually have to pay taxes on the ring.  I know with the Lakers, the Buss family picks up the entire cost of your first ring.  However, any ring after that you have to pay the tax on it, which is anywhere from $4k-15k depending on the cost of the ring.

http://www.gettyimages.co...09542/Getty-Images-Sport This is the only image I could find on Getty. If you want this one in high quality, I can get it. I'll keep looking, but if it was taken by a Giants employee or something then I can't get it.
Thanks Franchise!

I think the first picture was taken by "Marcio Jose Sanchez" who is part of the AP. But the picture you found is terrific.  What sizes are available and how much does it cost?

I'm going to just get the image file so you can print it at whatever size most likely up to 20x30. I can usually get images for a couple dollars.
