ACCORDING TO MY BOY AT FINISHLINE, THESE ARE A SUPER GR. IN THE MIDDLE OF DECEMBER WITH BLACK FOAMS, BRED 11'S AND THUNDER 4'S LOOMING. THESE WILL SIT A BIT I.E. WHITE/RED 14'S.

WILL SCOOP IN 2013 UNLESS I RECEIVE AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT.

I most certainly do. Yellow(IV) just like Orange(XII) does not belong anywere on such a great cw.

The yellow is barely noticeable. I forgot to mention the CG III's too. Been on the hunt for those. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions tho. I love the Cool Grey lines but the XII's were a no no for me.

CG IV > CG IX > CG XI > CG III

, the Wolf Grey V's were okay at best but the IV's and 02 IX's take the cake by a LAND-SLIDE. Neither one of them had an irrelevant color combo, the yellow on the IV's wasn't noticeable. The V's are in the same lane with the "Cool Grey/Orange" 12's, they could've did A LOT better job with both IMO.

IMO the only CG's that really matter are these, XI and V(I know it's wolf not cool but still lol). All others have some weird irrelevant color combo other than grey that make them look funny.

Didn't want to join the ranking debate but...

IXs, XIs, IVs are the only ones that really register.  III's are ok too.

Nike's done a better job with Cool Grey on numerous silos.  I'd probably take my Cool Grey 2K4 Huaraches over pretty much any Cool Grey shoe.

CG 11's 9's and 4's are the best PERIOD


The 3's are good but compared to those 3 models they fall short.

Not every model takes the CG cw good IMO

I see some '02's DS pairs on ebay with the patent already yellowed and dudes still asking for $300+ for them :x
Same goes with the 2001 Columbia 11's. Yellowed patent = devalued in my opinion

I feel you on the prices but it's just something about that yellowed Columbia XI patent leather that looks so dope to me.

GS retail plus shipping plus tax would've ran me about 120-125 (retail for Js is 110... I don't mind paying the extra $15-20 on for peace of mind. That's just me. I got 20 bucks, and I'd rather pay that 20 then tryna get up early and stand in line etc. Cuz I was NOT about to do that. My footlocker connect go fired so that gravy train of getting shoes held and not having to pay over retail is over


I pay 140 for my Lebrons anyway so it's no biggie *shrug*
