OFFICIAL 2012 LOS ANGELES DODGERS THREAD : 68-58 Dodgers/BoSox complete minimal trade

couple of interesting things I have noticed while browing jon soohoo's blog

700

Dodgers paying Dave Stewart for appearances? Is that even allowed?

700

Onelki's jacket

They can't pay him, but they can invite him. He is a former player, he also represents one of the faces of the franchise.

He's not on the payroll.

Don't know what to say about the jacket, if anything, there's more of a presence from Majestic. Nike stuff has dwindled to dri fit shirts, socks, compression shorts. Unless they are a Nike athlete then they have more gear.

562 usually is on top of it but he's probably at the gym right now about to eat his tofu dodger dog

Displaced LA native living in DC right now. Trying to create a Dodgers fanclub here in DC. Its getting a lot harder finding people since the Nats have started making some noise :rolleyes

bumping this thread to bring attention that we need a new one

been reading that grienke looks like he wont have to miss time and crawford's rehab is going well too.

Zack Greinke (elbow) thinks he won't have to miss a turn at the start of the regular season.
Greinke threw 43 pitches over four scoreless innings in a minor league game Wednesday, reporting afterwards that his arm "felt really good... It felt strong." The right-hander is scheduled to pitch twice more during the exhibition season, on March 25 and 30, and he believes that will be enough to build up arm strength and have ideal sharpness. It would potentially line him up for his Dodgers' regular season debut on April 5. It's not the second game of the season that he had originally been slated for, but, all things considered, the Dodgers would certainly take it. Mar 20 - 6:20 PM

Dodgers GM Ned Colletti said Tuesday that he believes Carl Crawford (elbow) will be ready for Opening Day.
Crawford has finally progressed to live game action, even picking up a pair of hits and an RBI in Monday's tilt with the Diamondbacks. He still hasn't manned his position defensively, which is a hurdle that will need to be climbed before he's cleared for Opening Day. But given Colletti's optimism, it appears Crawford might avoid the disabled list after all. Mar 19 - 7:48 PM

Cant believe season is almost here.

FB23 hows fatherhood?

Definitely excited for Dodgers baseball. Someone should make a new thread.

Fatherhood is pretty good so far, time flies like no other, but still enjoying those once in a lifetime moments. Crazy how time can seem like a blur.

How about you??
