When Bumgarner was taken out of the game, Jon Miller was speaking highly of Edlefsen and his ability to get the ground ball. Then Schumaker rips it over Blanco's head.

Kruk, Kuip, Miller, and Fleming are all easy to listen to when it comes to announcing games. But I couldn't care less about their opinions on players because I'd rather trust my gut and own two eyes. That said, I never liked Edlefsen. Something about him just looks funky to me, awkward really. And not in a good way. I don't think Bochy and Sabean can repair the defense up the middle until Blanco is the everyday CF. So Sabean better work his magic and find gems for the pen because they are pitching very ordinary through mid-May.Originally Posted by Red Is On NT

I remember back in '08, everyone in this thread was infuriated that Tyler Walker was coming into a close game to protect Timmy's lead. Walker would blow the lead and what not, but it was while Walker was warming up, Krukow talked along the lines of "when Walker is right, he'll be down around the knees and his breaking pitches fall off the table."
Pretty much I ended up yelling at Krukow through the TV.

You guys will win today, Wainwright has been horrible since coming back from missing all of last year. Cain will shut down the Cards today. I'm just hoping everybody else in the Central loses so no ground is lost.
