What? Did enough to not lose? Is that also what you thought when Floyd beat Marquez? Bradley boxed circles around JMM and served him a clinic that night, he executed his gameplan to perfection.

Rios/Alvarado 3 would be great as the first two were highly entertaining.

But of the remaining matchups I'd like to see Rios/Provodnikov. We always hear comparisons of the unstoppable force against the immovable object. This would be the immovable object against another immovable object.

Hit
because bradley ran the whole got damn fight, he did enough to just not lose.
That doesn't really make sense. What's the alternative, standing in front and getting smacked on purpose like Brandon Rios? How has that strategy worked out for him in his past two fights.

That's the last time I don't make a side Manny Pacquiao fight thread :lol these dudes just flood in here with their stupidity after nearly two years of being dormant.

Please and thank you.
At first I never liked fight threads because I felt it was repetitive but now I see why.

Thanks Pro, it's pretty clear which posters actually follow the sport and which ones spew the same fan boy garbage.

Shame that we'll never get SoG and Dirrell. I'm legitimately disappointed. I feel Dre is his stiffest competition.

Marquez gave Bradley 0 props after the fight and lost pretty soundly. What is the point of a rematch, dude seems to like fighting the same people over and over.
Like I said, Marquez is the kid who always wants a rematch when he loses, but doesn't want to give one when he wins.  I felt bad for him because I thought he was cheated out of the 3rd fight with Pac, but now I just don't like him.  Bradley shouldn't even accept a rematch because Marquez will cry until he finally get a W

good ol Pac fans. but stop posting facts, you'll get called racist and stuff lol

A little sad that Manny beats a guy coming off a loss, moving up a weight class and has very little boxing skills to speak of and people are not only claiming "he is back" but are putting him in with a guy who undoubtedly this generations best pure boxer. Just my 2 cents.

I mean there was legitimate fear Bam Bam's style and pop could end Manny's career with one punch after the overreported, brutal JMM KO. He's only lost to Mikey before this. Defense is definitely a question mark under Garcia, and Bam Bam only knows how to slug/trade. But this is a moderate building block for Manny.

No he lost to Richard Abril and it wasn't even close. I'm talkin he might have lost every round. As far as fear of his pop bam bam docent have that one punch power, he'll he didn't even have that at 30 and 35. He is a accumulation type KO fighter. He was tailor made for Manny. Not saying it's not a good . I think Rios losses to all the good 47 guys. And I really think he should stay far away from Ruslan.

Bam Bam isn't getting Provodnikov coming off two consecutive losses. More likely Mikey 3.

There was danger involved for Manny. Rios likes to trade and mix it up. Manny has at times disregarded Roach and left himself vulnerable. It's a building block. Nothing more, nothing less.

And Timmy lost to Pacquiao, but he's still technically undefeated. We could go back and forth all night about undeserved decisions.

The more I think about it, the more I think Shawn Porter can get the upset win against Devon Alexander. If he gets past Alexander and then moves on to beat a couple opponents like Guerrero, Berto, Malignaggi, or Judah then he will look like a prospective opponent for Floyd Mayweather.

Agreed -  Everytime MP would go at it with Bam Bam, I would be like "stick to the game, in and out, in and out".

Moderate building block? Legitimate fear?

:rollin

Mike Alvarado "only" lost to Alvarado...Please tell me who the hell else he's fought that worth mentioning?

This fight went exactly the way it was supposed to go. It was a fight to make Manny look good. We learned NOTHING about Manny from this fight.

Edit - Dudes are really trying to justify this fight. :{

You guys can't be that simple..

Pacquiao fans :{
