OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

Bert. Bert. The top like 300 or so people win some kind of money, so that's where the $30k payout comes from. Usually only the top 5 make big money, although up to around 50th place wins you $100. Here's what the prizes look like in one of the tourneys I entered this week:

It goes all the way down to 300th place getting $30. So if you wanna win good money you gotta have a really good/lucky team. One of my boys has a smart way of playing though. He does around 8-10 games a week for $10, all in 10-20 person leagues where the top prize is either $90 or $45 (with 2nd and 3rd place getting a smaller amount). He's good at consistently placing in the top 3 in like 6 games per week so he brings in around $100-$200 a week which isn't bad at all. I usually just do three $10 games per week. One big tourney, one 10 team league, and one 20 team league.

I mean the entry fee is only $10 can't really upset at 3000 being "all you win" :lol

Word, I'm not mad at all :lol :lol. My biggest money "real" fantasy league this year will only get me $1000 if I come in first and that was with a $100 buy in, requires weekly lineup changes/waiver pickups/trades/headache/heartbreak over a 16 week period. So winning $3000 on a one time $10 set-it-and-forget-it tourney was amazing. And honestly, because I won that $3000, if I lose all of my fantasy leagues this year (4 of them), I won't be too mad. Although I'm still gonna try and win every one of them :lol.

so this fanduel is legit? I was reading that sometimes they do not like paying out to the winners and that if you do not do head-to-head match-ups a bunch of cheating is involved.

I've only been playing on it for 2 weeks, but I haven't experienced any of that. So far I've won $18, $27, and $3000. Every time I won the money was in my account the morning after the Monday Night Football game was over. I'm not exactly sure how you would cheat. Do you have the link to where you read that? I'd like to give it a read.

Shoot, winning even $50 bucks after betting 5-10 bucks is cool lol. I'll just keep reusing the money i won to play more entries.

The team i chose for the $5 entry looks promising...$65k salary.
