What do you guys think 1st pick in a 10 team lol. This draft was full of laughs tho, guys picking up kickers in the 3rd round

You'll be fine trust me lol. I'll be surprised if you don't win the whole thing with this team. I think the only thing I don't like is your TEs. Antonio Gates hasn't really been able to add yardage after the catch in the past years and Gronk's injury situation is always a headache.

I swear I've always kinda hated James Jones for some reason, only reason I took him as my WR2 was cause I'm thinking he could put up big numbers again this year with injury prone Jordy and Cobb as the other two receivers next to him and no Jennings. But...I think Tavon and Nuk could put up similar numbers to him and be used as my WR2 so I kinda wanna see what I can get for him. What do you guys think?

james jones is touchdown dependent. at best a WR 3. Tavon is a 3 WR too, but he could be a percy harvin type but will only win you ppr leagues where return yardage counts. i wanted him as a WR4 in a 12 team ppr but someone got him before i could, i ended up with stevie johnson as my WR 4. my starters are dez, welker and steve smith, with johnson and kenbrell thompkins on my bench.

Love your RBs. Charles is Charles, Sproles is a PPR beast with the amount of receptions he gets, and I see Bush being a Sproles who's also gonna get 200 carries in his new offense. I really like Bowe this year with Alex Smith throwing to him. I'm expecting a big year for him, especially in PPR leagues. As for Garcon, I'm also expecting a big year from him as long as both he and RG3 can stay healthy. If he does end up going down I think T.Y. will be a viable replacement. I'm not a fan of Kyle Rudolph, he's too TD-dependent imo. I'd be checking the waiver wire for someone who breaks out the first few weeks of the season. Maybe even try to package him and Sproles in a trade to upgrade for a better TE, and then throw T.Y. in the Flex spot.

For whoever said they don't like the Garcon pick

RG3 looks for Garcon 1st then everyone else

Could put up numbers if they both stay healthy

Who would be a better pickup....Kenny Stills or Aaron Dobson?
I like Stills over Dobson. A #3 WR on the Saints has alot more fantasy potential than a #3 on the Pats imo. Stills has also looked pretty good this preseason while Dobson has been average.

i agree. dobson had the edge when camp started but thompkins has really emerged and bypassed him.

stills will get more looks with brees

Doing another draft tonight in a 10 team standard league, 4 pts for passing td. This will be first time in this league and they have a different setup. Starters: 2 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, with 8 bench spots. Never done a draft like this, but I have to draft an elite QB with my first pick right? I'm thinking maybe 2 elite qbs in the first and second round. Especially with 10 teams I think there should be enough depth but not to sure because the bench can hold 8 players.

^ Since it's only 4 points per passing TD I wouldn't be that worried about getting 2 elite QBs. What pick do you have? If you can get Brees/Rodgers/Manning/Brady (especially towards the end of the first round) I'd probably grab one of those. Maybe Cam Newton since he'll get you rushing TDs which are worth more. But I wouldn't go QB/QB in the first 2 rounds. RBs will most likely dry up QUICK. If you can get one of those guys in the 1st round, I'd go RB in the 2nd. If not I'd go RB/RB or maybe even RB/WR. Since you have to start 3 WRs I think it'd be beneficial to get an elite top 5 guy there. It really all depends on how the draft is going though. If you pick towards the end of the round and every guy taken so far is a QB then you almost have to go QB. If everyone's going RB then you probably should go RB too. Just pay attention to the trends in the first few rounds and pick accordingly.

2 trade offers in my PPR league
Send Reggie Bush, Det RB

Send Tony Romo, Dal QB

I'm pretty tempted to do the Brady trade.

I would do the second trade for sure.  Going from Tony Romo to Tom Brady is a bigger upgrade than going from Jason Witten to Jermichael Finley is a downgrade.

Peyton Manning for Trent Richardson straight up? Rice, David Wilson, Ben Tate and Gio are my other RBs and Russell Wilson is my QB

would not do the rb trade in a ppr.

I don't know what pick I have yet, I will find out when I get to the draft. But I agree, if I can get any of those qb's you mentioned toward the end of the first round I would pick them, the, hopefully go with a RB or WR in the next round. I think I'll be able to snag a QB later in the draft and would rather fill up my WR and RB spots. I will def be paying attention to the trends and draft accordingly. I'm prolly over thinking it right now, but I should be good once the draft starts.

Forgot to post this last night:

In round 7 or so of my draft last night, one of my boys (usually bottom of the barrel, pretty much gives a donation every year) tried to draft Michael Turner, Michael Crabtree, and Percy Harvin :lol :lol :lol. After he said Turner we let him know that he's unsigned so he was like "Ok let me get Michael Crabtree." A few of us started laughing. We let him know that Crab has a good chance of being out for the season, and that if he wants him he should probably wait till the last few rounds to take him. So he was like "Oh ok cool, let me get Percy Harvin then." At this point the whole room just bursts out in laughter and he's sitting there all red-faced and embarrassed :lol. I think he ended up taking either Greg Olsen or Stevie Johnson but it was just hilarious that he tried taking those 3 dudes in the same round back-to-back-to-back. He also tried taking Le'Veon Bell a few rounds before that, which we advised against, and ended up taking Marcedes Lewis a round or two later. At that point we were done letting him slide. Nothing better than drafting in person with a league full of your friends :hat.

Is David Wilson that much beter than Andre Brown?

I feel like Wilson is going way too early in every draft

Wilson and Brown are both beasts but Wilson is the more explosive one that they have a 1st round pick invested in. He also might be the best pass catching RB in the league. Check out some of his highlights from last year...some of the catches and routes they had him running were nuts.

I say no to both.

Romo and Brady will be similar fantasy wise, Romo may outscore Brady. Seriously. Witten is a lot better then Celek
