Al Jefferson Waiting On Mavs Before Committing To Bobcats

Al Jefferson is waiting to see what happens with Dwight Howard and the Dallas Mavericks before committing to the Charlotte Bobcats.

Jefferson is searching for a four-year deal starting at approximately $15 million per season.

Jefferson has spent the past day and half meeting with the Bobcats.

Jefferson believes that the Mavericks could make an offer if Howard chooses to sign elsewhere

Al Jefferson is not getting $15M a year from the Mavs... Better sign with Charlotte before they wake up and realize what the **** they're doing...

Cuban is not paying 15 mil for you Al.

the hawks should go after jefferson and push horford to the 4. the only big men jefferson has to deal with in the east are hibbert and lopez

Anitdope, you be going overboard with the Rondo slander bruh. :lol

His offense game is lacking but he's still a great passer, rebounder and defender.

So from Harden > Martin > ........... > Dorell Wright?

Wonder if OKC is planning to use Lamb more this season.

I'd be willing to bet Antidope's Rondo hatred is a result of Tony Parker not getting enough praise.

Otherwise, it's just misguided and silly.

Sorry, did I read Al Jeff, 4/60?

If MJ does that........

Only I'd Cuban doesn't beat him to it first. :lol

I actually wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with Al Jeff. Love his game, but he's not very good defensively.

We'd definitely overpay for someone like him. Very Mavericks-y thing to do. At the very least, it'd be fun to watch him and Dirk work. Oh well.

Also on Wright, I really like that move for OKC if it happens. Wright is an excellent shooter and would thrive in that environment.

As of now, no choice. As much as I denigrate Kevin Martin, he did shoot 42% from 3 (in the regular season), 45 from the field, top 5 in ft on a 13%draw rate and 15ppg. That's a lot to ask from a sophomore who didn't play as a rookie. Wright would be an awesome addition, can play 2-3 and in some small ball lineups, defend, is athletic, and can score with the 2nd unit but from what I hear the Thunder are offering him 1 or 2 yr deals at like 1.5 mil. I would imagine he can get better offers than that and he already has a title and is in his 20s stil so no need to be on ******** to a championship mode.

We're going to just wait til the smoke settles and sign whatever bargain basement dudes don't get signed, probably liek a Randy Foye or somebody for the vet minimum
