Lakers might take Odom back just to help him. If they do I doubt he'll get much playing time.

Beasley better go to the Don Pat Riley and beg him for another shot.

I think the only way LO finds his way back to the Lakers is if the Lakers are unexpectedly good enough to where they think they can make noise in the playoffs. Then maybe they can convince themselves that LO (assuming he hasn't been signed) can help them up front. Otherwise, they're likely relying on just Kaman, Gasol and Hill up front.

thats a good signing tho X will cook

Nope he's a little emotional punk. He got traded from the Lakers and started pouting and not giving his all. Clippers signed him and he was just trash. I hope the Lakers are trolling him.

I felt the same way especially how he left the Mavs hanging...unti I read this :\

http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/...kers-teammates-lamar-odom-express-concern-him

"The happiest Laker is one whose father was addicted to heroin; whose mother died of colon cancer when he was 12; who attended three high schools; had his first college scholarship revoked before the fall of his freshman year; became a subject of three college investigations; declared for the NBA draft; tried unsuccessfully to pull out of the draft; was picked by arguably the worst franchise in sports; violated the league's antidrug policy twice within eight months; and, after finally getting his life together, went home to New York City for an aunt's funeral and wound up burying his 6 1/2-month-old son, Jayden, then getting robbed at gunpoint."

And in the summer of 2011, Odom experienced more tragedy when, while home in New York City for a cousin's funeral, the driver of the car service Odom was a passenger in struck a motorcyclist, who in turn ended up colliding with and killing a 15-year-old boy.

Later that year, Odom was traded from the Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks at the end of the NBA lockout, a move he was very unhappy about. And in Dallas, and last season with the Clippers, he was a shell of the player who had won the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year as a Laker in 2010-11.

I don't care if you feel bad for him or not but if you don't understand his struggle despite the millions it's safe to say you're not very bright.

A man claiming to be Lamar Odom’s drug dealer in New York gave an interview with Radar detailing the cocaine habits of the basketball star who was reported missing and on a drug binge in recent weeks.

According to the interview posted Tuesday, the man, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he sold $16,000 worth of cocaine to Odom while the Queens native was in New York in February. Odom, who played for the Los Angeles Clippers last season, was in New York on Feb. 10 for a game against the New York Knicks and could have been in New York again one week later during his time off for the All-Star break.

The man claiming to be his dealer said he has known Odom for three years, during which time he claims to have sold the former Clipper ”roughly more than $50,000″ worth of drugs. He said he has witnessed Odom “high” on cocaine approximately 10 times and that he personally watched Odom smoke the drug. In the interview, the man said Odom is a “nice guy” but has a “huge problem” because of his “addictive personality.”

Odom was arrested on charges of driving under the influence in Los Angeles last week shortly after his agent refuted reports that his client was missing. ESPN cited a source last week saying the two-time NBA champion was at a Los Angeles hotel with friends as they attempted to help him with an alleged drug problem. Los Angeles prosecutors issued a statement earlier in August that said they would not file battery and grand theft charges against Odom for an incident this summer involving a photographer.

The 33-year-old is currently a free agent after stints with the Clippers, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks. Radar cited a source with knowledge of the situation who said that Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak told Odom’s agent that the team would offer him a roster spot for next season if he went to rehab.

I never said I didn't understand his struggles.

I will just say this: For some people, tragedy is a humbling experience. For others, it's a reason to engage in debauchery and arrogance.

That LO article is dumb. You don't "smoke" cocaine. And if you're talking about crack why is LO buying cocaine? To make it himself?

I would take that drug dealer interview with a grain of salt. He has no proof of even knowing Lamar, let alone selling thousands of dollars worth of coke to him

RT @BossCloss33: 2,180 consecutive days of complete sobriety. I actually quit drinking 1st. My journey began after I quit smoking weed.

wall better average 21 & 7 this year. He actually has a shot at his 1st All Star appearance but still think a healthy Cavs, Hawks, & Pistons keep the Wizards out the playoffs.

john wall's crib :smokin

hopefully odom can get through these drug issues that he's going through... he's gone through some real tough times, it'd be a terrible thing to see a serious downfall because of this.
