Speaking of Shanahan, I think his contract ends after the 2014 season. Anyone else think that Kyle is going to be given the keys to the car? I wouldn't be mad at that. As I mentioned WAY back, I feel as though the Shanahan's were a package deal. Mike took the job under the premise that Kyle would eventually be his successor.

Feel the same way. Have Kyle be the successor and then can Haslett and bring in a competent DC in the off-season.

I think Kyle is more than ready to lead a team. It's good that we have him in the pipeline. He's going to be a good head coach...hopefully it's here.
 
I thought Haslett is doing a good job considering what he had to work with. One of the worst secondary personnel and your best defender all pro tears his pec. It's gonna be hard to gauge how well the defense does this season if there's gonna be 3 rookies starting in the secondary and no depth in the inside

Injures last night sucked, but Rex showed why he's a viable #3 for this team. Pat White would not be able to do any of that, so we need to kill the noise that White is the better QB and should get the roster spot over Grossman. If anything, hopefully this preseason will showcase White to other teams so he can latch on somewhere else. I know he's better than a certain QB up in NE :lol:

Hope Kirk's MRI comes back clean today.

Also, I've said it before...but Kerrigan >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Orakpo. Dude is a playmaker. Orakpo, for all purposes, is a one-trick pony.

Amerson = food last night

Rambo was a little better, but I'm still iffy on the secondary.

Buffalo should be a good test due to the speed that they play. Let's stay healthy!

*I SO want Hank to be the #2 this year. He's got ridiculous potential.

Totally agree with Kerrigan man I think he's head and shoulders better than orakpo.

Hopefully these injuries aren't bad.

Didn't see much of white last night I fell asleep. Was he that bad? I saw him throw a laser on a short cross through a tiny window.

Gonna be interesting to see how the RB situation plays out. As of now, Morris and Helu are locks for the 1/2 spots. CT is gonna have to show out, or he's going to run the risk of being on the PS. JJ - he's running the risk of not making the team.

Dr. Andrews will have final say on RGIII

I have no doubt he'll be ready to go week 1 vs. Vick.
