OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Told myself I was going with a WR in the first two rds. After watching some film of Gio Bernanard I would like to get him on my squad. Thing is he's going somewhere in the 2nd which is a bit too high for somebody that will most likely share the workloadwith J.Hill, who would be stealing all of the goal line work. Kind of torn right now lol

rule #1: dont reach!

If gio falls to round 4..sure. but anywhere before that too iffy..though hue jackson offense will be run heavy. I'm not sure if he'll get goalline carries but other than that he should but up RB 1 rushing yards/all purpose numbers.

we're gonna go to the track and pick a race with 12 horses in it to determine our draft order. Each person gets a horse and the place it finishes is where we draft. Hope the idea doesn't fall through, much more fun than picking out of a hat :lol
thats what i did last year

Anyone got good ranking lists for PPR?
every site does PPR rankings
I know, but I can't peep em at work because of our filter.

Something to keep in mind and an eye out for: A lot of big teams have byes on week 4. Be careful and always check bye weeks

Venom, you have a link to any sites that have player rankings as well as the bye weeks? Would like to get something like that listed on the same page as the rankings.

Anyone got good ranking lists for PPR?
Not sure if you've seen this before, but this free web application will let you create your own customized rankings (including PPR-based) using drag and drop.  With the PPR sheet you can see players' PPR-based rankings from the previous year (along with lots of other useful information such as status indicators and customizable notes).  When your draft arrives you can just print your cheat sheet using the various templates.

http://www.cheatsheetwarroom.com/fantasy-football/nfl/create/custom-sheet.aspx

To create PPR-based sheets you need to register, but it's free and will save all of your rankings in real-time.

Trying to strike a deal with 2nd overall to move up from 3rd overall... With Charles, AP and Lacy all being kept by other owners, that would guarantee that I get either McCoy or Forte.

It is IMO; I think anywhere between the very late first && mid second round is the range if you wanna draft Ball.

Is Montee Ball late first round worthy with the top 6 RB's gone?
ball has been going 8th among rb's in mid to late 2nd round.  i think you can go with a better 1st round guy. graham , dez , demaryius just to name a few and hope levon bell or gio is there for you.  starting out with ball might be a little tough.

Your first pick of the draft being Montee Ball is a recipe for failure. He could turn out to have a year like Moreno just had but it's too risky.

There's no way I'd feel comfortable drafting Ball in the first round. Too scared after what happened last year...
