I was thinking that but still not sure Mettenberger will have the same chemistry with him as Mariota. Though he could be a great safety net for him

Delanie should be Mettenberger's go-to guy. Walker said in April he could be a franchise QB. Mettenberger is a sneaky plug-and-play option at QB in Week 7.
Trust your gut, seems like you're leaning Barnidge. Go with it. He defied the Baltimore numbers allowed to opposing TEs, although his TD that game was fluky. Produced against Denver surprisingly too.
