People blame him for individual games but in the big picture there's always some reason other than himself that lost his team the series.shooting is not the only way to constantly attack the defense, he also had 7 assists in 43 minutes. clippers are great in the regular season when he puts his teammates in positions to score. not when he passes the ball to blake 25 feet from the rim, requiring blake to make a move on his own.
if you're not shooting you should be attacking the defense which naturally creates open looks for your teammates. or you should be attacking yourself. chris paul didnt do enough of either to win the game
but lets keep blaming all his teammates like every other year of his career
Nobody's saying he's without fault. That's in your head. Both erupt and me criticized him for passing the ball to Blake in that situation. But you're claim that he wasn't trying to win and playing it safe is silly.
Look at any top 10 all time player and you will find examples of games where they didn't do enough to win. But the times they did win more than make up for their failures. With Chris Paul he has never accomplished anything yet people are talking about top 5 pg. that's where the hate comes from. If curry doesn't win a championship in the next 3 years he will get the same hate when people start ranking him ahead of all time greats that have actually won championships.
The flopping and crying also doesn't help his case
