Melo played the perimeter well and was hitting a bunch of tough shots. Then the wizards put a smaller defender on him and was daring Melo to drive and he couldn't make an athletic move to get around him. Then Melo tried to play the low post but couldn't elevate over him. He was shooting wild fadeaways from the post.
Overall he looked good but was taking a lot of tough shots because he couldn't get around defenders.

He hit like 4 open 3's. He shot 7-11 and vintage melo post play and fadeaways. What are you even talking about [emoji]128514[/emoji]

I may be going hard on Melo, I just expect him to start the season in top shape like the elite athletes do.

Seeing where his first step and jumping ability is right now is sort of disappointing. I can only think the wieght is the reason he is slower and need a running start to dunk now
