Damn, I didn't keep up much with the NBA yesterday but Ibaka's return to OKC :x

I agree he's the goat shooter and a great decoy, but he's got probably one of if not the greatest collections of talent around him...if say Steph was in Philly or Sac does he make them title contenders?
at "greatest collection of talent around him"
Dude won a championship and MVP as the best player on a team that NOBODY expected to win 67 games in the West. Let alone beat LeBron James in the finals.
The Warriors were trending towards being good. But nobody ever thought they'd be historically great. That's revisionist history.
The Warriors have talent. But their talent is homegrown, home run draft picks that made unforeseen jumps as players.
The Warriors are a sum of all parts team.
Kevin Durant is their first big outside FA acquisition. And that's a HUGE acquisition.
But people gotta stop acting like GSW just went out and bought all the talent they have, instead of making smart deals, getting lucky with injuries and great scouting.
I mean they failed so bad man
RW-Reggie
Harden-Thabo
KD-Jeff Green
Ibaka-Kanter
Adams-Hasheem.
They wouldve cooked for years
There is no Adams with Harden
No one said they "bought" their team, besides aquiring KD
James Jones went to 6 straight finals b. Put some respeck on his nameBeating a team that had a rotation of
Delly
Jr
Lebron
Tristan
Mozgov
Shump
James Jones
Mike Miller
Man that is some doodoo caca around lebron not sure if I forgot anyone
Agreed.
Being a prolific shooter means nothing. Kyrie has clearly demonstrated what a great all around player he is over the course of his career.
Steph wishes he was filling up the stat sheet like Uncle Drew.
Raps win 58 games Demar averages 32 on decent shooting splits does he win MVP ?? I don't even know what to think of him right now dude makes some tough shots

Is this sarcasm? Kyrie has shown his whole career what a great all around player he is? Filling up the stat sheet? What? All he does is score. Him at point guard was one of the main reasons this past Olympic team struggled...they had nobody to set anybody up and Kyrie just wanted to score every play.
Curry averages 27, 6 and 4 right now while Kyrie averages 24, 4 and 3. I hope you were trolling.

Curry had a top 10 individual season of all time last year in the regular season. Lol at one trick pony.
They've been without 2 of their 3 best players too. No team would look good under those circumstances. Now that being said, they've been getting smashed on the defensive glass and that will still probably be an issue when Horford and Crowder return. That's probably gonna be an issue all year.
Agreed.

is having mutiple draft picks pan out not a collection of talent? You said "greatest collection of talent"....its clear what you implied there.
Great players need other great players to win championships in the NBA so it's a moot point either way. The Golden State phenomena is a team that's successful do to a number of random factors, unforeseen jumps, team building, great coaching, great system, chemistry, and smart signings.
I just realized I'm arguing with a guy that just called Steph curry an "overrated one trick pony"....
I gotta stop doing this
