That is his posse that he made rich. Why we gotta beat around the bush and act like these guys deserve the utmost respect for being brons friends.
Right...because ANYONE successful could put their friends in positions of power and get the same results.

I'm sure Allen Iverson could have done the same.

Lebron lost respect for him but went back to play for dan Gilbert :lol. Clown

bron beyond clown status for going back playing for gilbert. No matter how much money bron has made, he made more for Dan. Dude will ALWAYS be a sucker for that. My principals would never allow me to deal with Gilbert again if he talked about me in such a way.

Team Dime agrees, @Hand2HandKing

Nothing wrong w/ nepotism. Maverick Carter, and countless others, aren't the first...nor last to benefit from the golden ticket.

iverson isnt close to the player that lebron is. try again. lebron is the face of the league, one of the best ever  and the league has never had more money.

like dame dash saying he made jay-z or people thinking that  .

maverick carter wouldnt be anything without lebron. lebron dont need help to be successful. he is a business. these other dudes are coattail riders. you couldve gotten lebron a billion dollar deal with nike if you were maverick carter.

i get it though, anyone would put they friends on. not mad at that.

At 70k you're already commanding a greater salary than the majority of entry level college graduates jobs, likely have no restrictions on endorsements and get to learn NBA basketball rather than the sham that is college basketball.

100k makes this an absolute no brainer but it still seems like an easy decision for those surefire one and done guys.

Yup, this is where it should be move after the next CBA but NBA is still in cahoots with the NCAA and that would be a major hit for them.

I'm tired of elite prospects being influenced by college coaches who don't utilize pro concepts.

Either change the NCAA rules to be like NBA or let the elite prospects come straight to the D-League and get paid.

Took my thoughts exactly.

antidope antidope you're on to something.

There are going to be a whole lot of kids dropping out of school next semester

Anything that screws the NCAA is good for America

****** saying what they would do if they were in the position of once In a generation athletes.

Aight man. :lol

Like I said, a lot of y'all sound like weirdos who can't separate emotional feelings for athletes and living vicariously from objectively assessing a situation for what it is.

Y'all men saying this **** too, different.

I'm sorry.

What film production company did Team Dime start? What sports agency did they start? How many clients did they pick up?

It's disrespectful as hell for ya'll to undermine the actual work they do. Yes...they're Lebrons "friends" but they obviously have had to acquire the business acumen on their own to do what they're doing.

You're acting like Lebron got drafted and simply put his homies on. You're ignoring the fact that these dudes interned at Nike...sit in the offices at CAA and soaked up game.

Again...if it were that simple...Lebron wouldn't have been the first megastar to put his business in the hands of his "posse" and have them do just as well as the "professionals".

These ****** are cornballs. They hate to see ****** get credit for anything.

Some of these same morons were just in here weeks ago saying how Lebron SHOULD BE where is simply because he's 6'9 and gifted physically.

I know you aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer but your first sentence is irrelevant. What ON EARTH does them as "players" have anything to do with what I said?

I used Allen Iverson as another example of a MULTIMILLION DOLLAR SUPERSTAR ATHLETE who was well known for his "posse" making news for the wrong reasons.

okay then thats irrelevant .

point is lebron made him not the other way around.

no need to take shots cause people have different opinions then you , or dont think like you do. i got no problem with you . chill.  thats the problem on here , people cant have civil conversations without resorting to name calling or shots for people not having the same opinion.

better the talent . the more money. iverson also wasnt really smart. lebron is smart in how he carries himself at all times for the most part. point is lebron made him not the other way around.

You still not making any sense. How does "more money" factor into this? WTF are you talking about? Even after I explained WHY i bought up AI...you're pulling these other irrelevant variables out of your ***. I didn't say, "Allen Iverson made as much money as Lebron"...so why are you talking about that?

And who here said they made Lebron?

Ya'll dudes are making up and arguing make believe points that have nothing to do with the topic at hand. It really is bizarro world in here sometimes.

The CEO of our company calls our whole company a posse in his monthly bday celebration emails. :lol

Phil always seemed like the type, though. Then again people in here still love Hubie Brown after what he said about "blacks"

i agreed with you and said it was irrelevant . i said you were right and i was wrong on bringing up iverson and money . so why are you bringing it up again.

i just see him as the dame dash type. acting like hes this huge success when its because of lebrons help.

if you disagree cool man. no need for shots or name calling cause i dont see it like you.

like i said i got nothing against you. you cool peoples to me.

Why did Maverick and Lebby bring up their million dollar credentials? Missing in all of this is the fact that Phil's point had nothing to do with their business moves or acumen. He referenced LeBron wanting to stay overnight in Cleveland to kick it with his boys. That's a fact.

Any ***** with a 4 year degree in sports management can get lebron anything he wants :lol

Relax bruh

yes because that was my point, :rolleyes

some of you dudes be too quick on that quote button,

if you don't understand someone's point ask or just play the sidelines.

Dudes really acting like every athletes friends would be capable of making these types of moves :lol

so how come every athlete doesn't have his "posse" handling his business?

AI shoulda had a "You're not supposed to be here" commercial.

From prison to 1st overall pick in arguably the greatest draft ever.

Amazing.

Phil's point was LeBron and his peers wanted to be bigger than the organization, the team and the culture.

They wanted it his way, not the MIami Heat way. But no, let's pick a singular word out and harp on about it. Was it a poor choice of words? Yes.

Again why is he worried about LeBron and not that bum *** franchise he's running?

He was out of pocket no matter how you slice it.
