Deng gets 10, mcroberts gets 5.5 I think. Chalmers is 4.3 . Sign and trade those 3 that's 19.8 off the books. Add birdman 1.8 a year and we could give him 21 mill. Is that how it works lol? I'm not 100% sure if that's how sign and trades work.

If there is a crazy way we get LMA, Whiteside to the bench?! Not sure how his production would react to that, he's a young player.
Team as is, we still need one addition for our bench, who's going to score??
This is the youngest our team has been in a while, given Justise will be getting mins. It's a nice blend of vets & youth on this team..It takes a load off Wade this season, Bosh should be rested from taking time off, Dragic should be more incorporated into the offense. I'm excited about next season

Y'all gonna have to S&T either Bosh or Whiteside/fillers to get LMA.
Don't see it happening to be honest, but I'm glad Wade is back... rumors to CLE never made any sense to begin with.
Hopefully you guys are healthy and maybe we meet in the ECF if Heat can get there.

Even though Whiteside has the potential to be a future BEAST I'd sacrifice him and/or Birdman, Chalmer, and possibly Deng for Lamarcus.

We have a great team, don't really need to fish for Lamarcus. Try to put the rooks in the best position possible and get everyone on the same page

i really dont understand them bruh. we just landed wade and all theyre talking about is if we can snatch LMA and sacrifice our new obvious future a la lebron and wiggins...
chasing lma is a slap in the face to those on the team. we're immediately stifling other players growth and frankly...we dont need him. hes just another big name. stop chasing players. at some point you need to work on the team u have. some of yall need to realize that. just got our team back together and all ur thinking about is what big name can we land next year.

It's free agency. It's an exciting time for hopeful fans. There's NOTHING wrong with that. You do you and let them be them.

As much as I think it's a long shot to get LMA (and it is), it's Riles. The Godfather is the best in the biz
Also, I know most of us don't want Booz, "it's more likely than not" going to happen. He'll be cheap though and off the bench. It might be worth it in that case

Also what rookies future would be sacrificed if we traded Deng, Chalmers, Birdman & McBob? If anything it looks like the young core would be given even more opportunities.

I think we all can agree that last season's emergence of Whiteside into the league not just for the squad, proved that his value will inevitable rise. So, in theory and from a business perspective it makes sense to include assets that hold such a potent value in negotiation talks with high profile Free agents. Luring them with the hopeful success to come to and already established org. Riley is brilliant at putting these pieces together but, he is not alone to bear the bulk of that brilliance. We cannot and should not forget that within our own Organizational staffing, holds Andy Elisburg (Senior VP of Operations) whom by in large wrote the previous CBA that is in place and within its final year before revisions. So, from a "books" standpoint we are WELLLL entrenched at the advantage. Lets enjoy the ride as we've done so in the past heat fam and of course...we never waver in faith!

we gonna have to agree to disagree. on all of it. we dont need aldridge and it sends a bad message going after him to your big men. and, his position is well filled. dropping a future star big man for a current very good big man doesnt add up. but then again, like i said... lebron JUST did this with wiggins. ended up being a stupid decision. lebron would have another ring right now if it wasn't for that.
