How in the world is Toronto going to win when they're so weak and so slow to get back on defense

FESTUS Ezeli himself will single handedly destroy the Cavs on defense, real talk
why do yall do this... festus ezeli is not doing **** to the cavs and you know it.. god damn the amount of hyperbole in this thread is sickening

SVG isn't having Demarre and Patterson's standing around

We deserve a healthy heat vs cavs series. It's the only one that would be remotely entertaining. Hell even if just Whiteside came back right now it woulda been better than this

The Eastern conference has been embarrassing the last 2-3 years man.

Worst its been since 02 & 03 when the East had absolutely zero serious teams.

Very difficult to watch this when there are 3 teams in the other conference who would give these guys a serious run.

They need to abandon the East Vs West thing

It's weird, I've been on a couple other sites and nowhere obsesses over conference quality as much as Niketalk.

The West has been better than the East for awhile now.. that much is clear. But the constant complaining over it just confuses me. We get it.. the West is stronger, let's just give it a rest already. Like I just read that Cleveland couldn't beat Utah in a 7 game series.. :lol stop it.

It always seems like it's a combination of crappy team' fans who complain about conference quality like their squad would be title contenders if they played in the East.. or fringe contenders who wish they had a slightly easier path. Then there's the whole "Lebron hasn't beaten enough 50 win teams" which is such an arbitrary complaint and number to constantly bring up. Lebron has flaws and criticisms, but he can't control the quality of his conference. And no, he isn't "scared to go West" like it's a rite of passage or some nonsense :lol This is the format, this will likely be the format for awhile. The issue isn't East vs West, it's that we play 82 damn games and then we let half the league in the playoffs, then add 7 game series, TV scheduling, etc.. We get basketball fatigue.

The only glaring thing about the conference disparity is there were 3 contenders in the West this year compared to 1 in the East. That's it. And considering we have 2 of those contenders squaring off right now, we're hardly missing out . The "best case" scenario is SAS plays against Cleveland, so we're 1 team away. The problem in the playoffs hasn't been the East being so much weaker, it's just been an odd mix of blowouts, injuries, and boring matchups.

I still think Lowry is a bench PG who got a starting job for a couple decent years. Lowry would be great in a bench role.

This is one of the few post of yours that i actually agree with i hated him when he was here in Houston

Mark jackson saying the culture wasnt good in new york or denver for jr smith. Common theme in both places -- melo

When the Cavs get washed in the Finals after paddycaking their way through the East it's just going to further prove how bad the East really is.

I can't see how the raptors complain about foul calls right now knowing they got away with murder from the refs in the Miami series. This is just karma.

I don't think they should abandon conference. Just make the winners automatically be in the playoffs n everyone else after that fighting for birth. Give them dudes at least something to play for during the regular season.

I saw someone on Facebook say LeBrons numbers would be cut in half if he played in the West and he was dead serious :rollin

It was comparing LeBron and Curry career totals, so i think he meant LeBrons careers numbers too.
