Who hates Steph Curry? :lol Very few NTers?

Dude is pretty much the golden boy right now. He gets away with being cocky on the court. I don't have a problem with it but other superstars get killed for it (Lebron, Kobe) but it's ok for Steph to celebrate, dance, stare down. :lol

They act like steph is just so humble, like you said there is nothing wrong with the cockiness but bron gets crucified for it.

If the Cavs were losing games on the way to the Finals then ppl would be bashing Bron for losing to the "weak" eastern conference

Dude is forever in a lose lose situation since the Heat thing
Pretty much.

Nothing wrong with being cocky. People love that sht. Some hate it. Bron also comes off as entitled in the league. So that makes his "cockiness" seem worse. One thing I personally hate about Bron is how much he cries and whines to the refs....and the ***** gets ALL THE CALLS.

Can't say I've ever seen Steph cry to the refs now that I think about it.

Entitled? Dude has been great since day one.....

Doubtful, Jordan had the perfect mix of dominant team play, individual play, marketing, shoes/branding, protection from the media and love from the NBA. I don't see it replicated ever again; if nothing else due to the nature of social media and people

I don't see another player replicating MJ's individual success or coming close to being the icon he was/is but memories of legends fade. I'm assuming people 25 and older find it hard to believe any nba player could supplant MJ mainly because we grew up watching him on NBA on NBC. We might even get nostalgic enough to watch his finals games on YT to remind ourselves of his greatness on the court. However, I work with high schoolers and I'd be hard pressed to find a young adult who actually recalls why the black/red XIIs are called the "flu games". This current generation of youth will probably grow up talking about Kobe and Lebron (possibly steph if he can string together another 5 to 7 years of dominance) because that's all they've seen. Old people like us will eventually sound like Oscar Robertson hating on steph on some "back in my day..." BS.

Not true. Who is best singer in the past 40 years?

I haven't watched 1 minute of this Cavs/Raptors series. I hate the ****** Eastern Conference. Blow it up. Top 16 needs to happen.

giphy.gif

1.) Warriors 73-9
2.) Spurs 67-15
3.) Cavs 57-25
4.) Raptors 56-26

5.) Thunder 55-27
6.)Clippers 53-29
7.) Heat 48-34
8.) Hawks 48-34
9.) Celtics 48 -34
10.) Hornets 48-34
11.) Pacers 45-37
12.) Pistons 44-38

13.) Trail-Blazers 44-38
14.) Bulls 42-40
15.) Grizzlies 42-40
16.) Wizards 41-41

Cavs, like any other team in the playoffs, are playing the team in front of them...
or perhaps the entire league was rigged to make their playoffs more easier....
rather than give credit where it's due tho I guess it's easier to ***** & moan....

But aren't the cavs supposed to win? If people will use all sorts of advanced metrics and stats to back him up, then shouldn't LBJ be expected to win?

But the reality is, Bron and the cavs would get crucified for losing in the ECF the same way the warriors would get crucified for not getting the tile after a 73-win season.

Certainly, but what I was saying is no single player will reach the apex that MJ did (in terms of the overall package). Times are just different and regardless of how good the player is it won't happen

I don't have a problem with Steph doing it because his game backs it up. When he does it, it's after like a 20-30-40 pt game during a 15 point run or something. It's just his way of getting loose and comfortable on the court. It's like RUSS doing the pregame dancing, I don't mind it.

Dudes like LeBron irritate me. First to throw someone under the buss, talk himself up, stare down weak @ss defenders, but has every excuse when he loses. Can't call your self the greatest player on the planet when you can't back it up. Regular season stats don't matter to me.Legacy is what you do in the post season. He doesn't finish. Kobe was passionate but his legacy was built on Shaq and he let that get to his head a little too much.

See... These type of responses are the problem. :lol

How has Lebron not backed it up? The 2011 finals is the only valid criticism. He choked. Other than that.. He exceeded the hype from day 1. 2 rings, a bunch of MVP's, has been at least a top 2 player in the league for 10 years. If we gonna nitpick and go by who can be cocky and who can't, Lebron got more of a right than Steph. I like Steph but it has become a thing for Lebron haters to hype him even more to knock Lebron. You would think Steph was Mr. Clutch in last year's finals the way y'all talk about him. When he had plenty of struggle moments.

As far as Kobe, that's some old 2005 talk. :lol The Shaq thing been dead.

Not comparable my G. Too many genres of music to say there's a best singer. We gonna use record sales to define "best?"

FINALLY an unbiased reply from either side :Nthat

Using record sales is flawed. More records were sold back then compared to now due to piracy and streaming. Back then you had to buy the CD or Tape then burn it or record on the tape player, Napster changed the game in the late 90s.

We still whining about the Eastern Conference like the East isn't better balanced than the West currently when you look at wins and losses. The West had more teams under .500 this season.

Agreed. My question was rhetorical, facetious if anything. But was just saying that the comparison between the NBA and music stardom was a reach
