Man. How did Toronto get 50 wins this season? And Finish 2nd in theEast.

On paper they look trash.

How are they here?

easy.

1. Kyle Lowry can't make it thorugh a full season healthy

last year it was his hip, this year its his elbow. Kyle Lowry is their best player, and the raptors are basically mediocre if he's not playing well.


2. Dwayne Casey is a rigid, unimaginative coach who overrates certain players on his roster.

This doesn't hurt you in the regular seaosn when teams don't have time to prepare. but smart coaches come with game plans and he is slow to adjust. took him 4 games to sit scola.
- also he belives Demar Derozan is way better than he actually is.


he's an above average regular season coach that can't hang in the playoffs.

3. Derozan game is built on contested mid range shots and tricking people into fouls.

Wistles is tighter in the playoffs, game planning is better so guys don't fall for pump fakes/rip through moves.
when he's not scoring he gives you NOTHING else.

paul geroeg is the perfect player to defend him, taking contest midrangers is cool when you are playing some trash 6'5 SG on a random tuedsday night in regular seaosn. but contested jumpers over 6'9 Paul George? Bricks. :x

Kyle Lowry can;'t through a full season. he played 70 games healthy got hurt again at the end. he was healthy during THE REGULAR SEASON.

dwayne casey is good when teams don't have time to prepare. llike in the REGULAR SEASON.

Derozan is good when teams don't have to prepare LIKE IN THE REGULAR SEASON.,

PG is the perfect matchup to destroy derozan.



all that adds up to 56 wins and getting dragged by the pacers and the reason why I thought this series was going 7 before it started.
