They punish refs by not giving them assignments in the second round. The league grades officials through the playoffs. So, in a way, their punishment is working less and missing out on more money.

100% agree on this one. Game was hella rigged in favor for Toronto. Some key late calls and no calls near the end of the game all went in favor to Toronto.
