That Cavs-Piston game could've easily started at 1 PM. Pushed every game up 2 hours. 10:40 PM start on a Sunday. After 3 games? SMH.

It's been a dumb idea forever.

They don't always do it like this anyway. Next Sunday they got it right. First game at 1pm, last game at 830.

Yesterday's games started 9:30am PST. Cavs Pistons could've easily been a 12:00pm CT start.

Opening weekend prime time slot has been at 330 EST on Sunday for as long as I've been watching basketball. It's partly why Kerr made a small tiff about it that the Cavs got it over GS.

The more I watch him, the more I realize why he has bounced around so much. Solid defender, very athletic but his offensive game is still pretty raw. I don't hope for blowouts, but for his sake, he needs the garbage time.

I'm used to the schedule, but I concur, arguably the most competitive first round series (based on seeding) in the west shouldn't be this late.
