Official 2017 Knicks Offseason thread, Phil Jackson gone

Like he said, sports is entertainment, it's not real pressure. It's not missing meals, it's not living in a violent environment. America dislikes arrogance, confidence coming from a certain demographic and has conditioned the rest of the country to buy into that rhetoric despite seemingly overbearing fathers being damn near being the norm for top white prospects in Football and baseball. He's been given a platform by the media then vilified by them, they created this, not vice versa. I just see a supportive, passionate father. Like I said before, kids need that extra push to even achieve their own dreams.

Lonzo Ball is the only pg in lottery that looks like a pg, the rest are athletic scorers. Not a fan of pops but if his Richard Williams school of sports parenting certificate pays off like Venus and Serena I'll allow it..

That confidence and strength is what helped him raise 3 potential NBA lottery picks.

If your parents don't think you're the best, who will?

I get your point , but only 2 of them are good . The middle kid isn't ranked that high and will be coming off the bench at UCLA

the pelicans will need to beat the raptors, timberwolves over clippers and kings to beat san Antonio. [emoji]128064[/emoji] anything's possible but I hope you're not a gambling man. Then again longshots are where the money is made.. :lol

you realize you're asking for the pelicans to beat the raptors, timberwolves over clippers and kings to beat san Antonio. [emoji]128064[/emoji] anything's possible but I hope you're not a gambling man. Then again longshots are where the money is made.. :lol

Pelicans are at home vs the Raptors without Lowry
Spurs are sitting Leonard & Aldridge vs the Kings
Clippers probably beat the Wolves by 15+ :lol

Anything is possible :lol

When we had the 2nd worst record we got the 4th pick

Irrelevant. All his sons are getting free rides at the end of the day that's the stuff most parents couldnt even dream about

The idea of playing for the Knicks intrigued Dennis Smith Jr. But not as much as teaming up with Derrick Rose. That truly appealed to the ACC Rookie of the Year, one of college basketball’s top prospects.

“I’m a Derrick Rose fan, so I’m not going to say they need a point guard,” the gifted 6-foot-2 Smith said Monday after N.C. State practiced at Barclays Center in advance of Tuesday’s ACC Tournament opening round. “I like Derrick Rose a lot.

“That would be exciting,” he said, about potentially playing alongside the Knicks point guard, who will be a free agent this summer. “Derrick Rose is somebody I watched a lot of, and I got a lot of respect for him. I definitely could [see myself playing in New York City]. It would be great.”

Only European in the lottery is Frank Ntilikina & I'd be more than happy with him.

If there's one thing we've done right the last few years it's scouting & player development.
