when has common sense ever been applied to this franchise? I'll wait.....Blake isn't coming here....doesn't fit at all
STAT actually had bigs FEARING to guard him... ppl tend to forget how he had mandem shookBlake is Stat 2.0
The Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks are expected to return to their trade talks centered on Carmelo Anthony.
The two sides discussed trade scenarios involving Jamal Crawford and Austin Rivers for Anthony, but Crawford could instead be replaced by J.J. Redick in a sign-and-trade. Redick is 32 compared to the 37-year-old Crawford and is also a better fit for the triangle.
Redick would have to agree upon the deal as he's a free agent.
"It was a tough series for him," Doc Rivers said of Redick.
If the two sides expand the deal, Courtney Lee could also be included heading with Anthony to the Clippers.
Anthony indicated to the Knicks at the deadline that he was agreeable to Los Angeles.
heard we only have 19 million in cap space... lets say cp3 made his way here the triangle would ruin his whole game regardless
Probably wouldn't.heard we only have 19 million in cap space... lets say cp3 made his way here the triangle would ruin his whole game regardless

If you compare stats first 6 years against Blakes fitst 6 years the narrative changes.
Blake is a poor man's OG STAT
Blake in 6 injury riddled years.......471 games played, 35.2 MPG, 21.5 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 4.1 APG
Amar'e in 13 injury riddled years...846 games played, 31 MPG, 18.9 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 1.2 APG

I won't argue that last part. Amare was a force.Stats really don't tell the full story here. Like it or not Amare was the more impactful player in his prime than Blake has ever been.
The argument was Blake was a poor man's Amar'e. We all showed that statement was just hot air. Point proven....or disprovenMy point was they were a lot more similar than not. Amares numbers faded towards the end of his career...
