I just threw it out there as a hypothetical. I didnt see any rumors about Willy, and as a matter of fact most reports I have seen have said the discussions have involved everybody but KP and Willy.I don't think there was a report saying Willy would've been the one traded for Harkless + 15th pick.
Portlands salary situation is so bad that I would throw Randle who's making $900k which would be great for Portland

If you aren't related to an employee or client you ain't getting that intern bruh's.
Your experience and mine are totally different then. I be seen it happen 16 years in a row. Outside applicants are needed for appearances. If you work with a firm that is forward thinking kudos, I dont believe you...ETA stop playing the "this place" card, you post here because you like itIf you aren't related to an employee or client you ain't getting that intern bruh's.
Not true at all. Not even in the slightest bit. Especially for major bulge bracket banks, PE firms and Hedge Funds. There's a formal process which every applicant must go through. Nepotism is frowned upon, especially in finance. Just look at what happened to JP Morgan in Asia.
Now, the boutique firms are a different story. In our case, we are boutique, but we also have a formal process. In this case, we have an immediate need for an urgent hire. If I was looking to bring in someone I was related to then I wouldn't be presenting this offer to y'all.
Sometimes, it's posts like this that makes me stop coming to this thread in the first place
Hank Scorpio Asking for a friend outside of NT who checks off all those boxes except being a junior in college. He graduated in 2014. Let me know.

As I stated in the post you replied to if you work for, or in this case own, a firm that is forward thinking, kudos to you. As you are speaking on what you know from your perspective, I am speaking on mine. They are different obviously since they are based on different experiences. Pardon me if I offended you by not realizing the buck stopped with you. Can't nobody come get me tho.. View media item 2464547Your experience and mine are totally different then. Who's mans is this? Come get him.
First of all--I work for myself. I own my own firm. I'm reaching out, because you guys are cool in my book and if I'm going to be around people for 10-12hrs a day, I'd rather it be around people I can shoot the **** with. You can only talk about work for so long until it gets boring.
Second--I haven't been posting here in quite some time now. Part of it is lack of interest. Most of it is because there is so much you can discuss regarding a sub-mediocre team. I do lurk here to check up on some of the guys here, whom I consider to be solid guys. Hence why I extended the offer. But maybe I was wrong.
Idk what kind of employment process experiences you've had in the past. Nor can I be held accountable for them in an indirect way, which you seem to insinuate or assume. I can only speak on what I know from my perspective. I can say for certain that we don't favor neopotism in my firm. If I wanted to "hook up" a relative, I'd introduce him with people in my network, which I've done so most recently. It's far more effective than "handing out" a job.
