Official 2017 Knicks Offseason thread, Phil Jackson gone

I am ecstatic!!!!!! This is the best thing he has done for the team since drafting KP. NO MORE TRIANGLE

It sucks that this will likely lead to more W's next season. This core of young players isn't good enough going forward we need to suck for 2 more seasons to give KP running mates for his career.

What a mess, just glad Phil is gone....

Hopefully we can start to rebuild this thing the right way but with the Knicks I doubt it.... :{

We're in a good spot for the future.

It's imperative that we sign the right GM tho

At this point, everyone that is interested in the job knows more about what NOT to do in NY, than what to do. That's already better than Phil.

No triangle, no trading KP, no signing an injury prone 30+ year old and you probably can't **** up

It's very easy to succeed in New York

- Don't alienate your best players
- Don't trade draft picks
- Prove you have a plan

I'm taking Teague over Rose 10 times outta 10 but I don't like giving him a long term deal.

I'd be alright with something like 2/$35M
