Official 2017 Knicks Offseason thread, Phil Jackson gone

If Frank is the defensive specialist and playmaker people envision he'll become in a few years I would actually think Kyrie would be a very good fit next to him.

Problem with that is a) I doubt it happens and b) it's a long waiting game to play.

I wonder if the Cavs want picks or talent now. I'd guess talent now to keep Lebron happy.

Also reading that Kyrie had the Bulls as a landing spot but cancelled when they traded Butler. So why the Knicks? Somebody full of ****

I don't see Frank as a PG. Watched him enough to know that he's really not an actual PG. Just makes the right pass. If he grows another inch or 2 can slide into a SF. Very similar game to Batum.

Melo and Kyries salaries don't match up

There'd have to be something extra on top for them to give us

The Knicks, obviously, have strong interest in Kyrie Irving (just like 29 other teams) but I'm told people in the Knicks front office would not be willing at this point to include Kristaps Porzingis in a trade. Some with the organization would be willing to include future first-round picks and Carmelo Anthony in a deal for Irving, per league sources.

oh **** me

I like that idea. The problem is that we renounced the right to Rose so S/T is out of the option
