I see the wax molders still on that beyonce steeze

Matched up against avery bradley bro lol not IT. Come on.

I know that.

But does old boy know that? Because he said it as if IT would match up directly with curry all game.

You and I both know that's not gonna happen. Unless IT is killing curry on the other end.

Kcp had an injury that seemed to affect him the second half of the season. Played a lot better before then. I'm just going off stats, I don't hate myself enough to watch pistons games. No offense to the homie freezy

In what way? Excluding the Cavs series that he didn't play in...what did Kyrie display in the playoffs that Zeke didn't?

Yea I keep seeing people talk about playoff Kyrie but he averaged 2 more points than Zeke. Much better % but still, Thomas clearly took over that series against the wiz

The last two years against the GSW honestly. Zeke didn't play but like, game 4 against the C's as well.

It's like the Playoffs are designed for Kyrie. Sets blow up, isolation play becomes even more essential and few are better in isolation especially in the halfcourt than Kyrie come playoff time. For instance, in the halfcourt, Kyrie is miles better of an offensive player than John Wall in PPP, and that's a vital skill to me come playoff time.

I hate to even get into the averages. Just from a general viewpoint...they're the same person

They're both EXTREMELY gifted scorers who offer little else. Where's the drawbreaker that Kyrie has and IT doesn't?

I would add that Kyrie is capable of being merely mediocre on defense. IT has and always will be a glaring liability you have to be aware of.

26 a game on a 57%TS in the playoffs vs 23 a game on 42% and a 18 PER.

Kyrie is solidly better than Zeke in the playoffs and this is the deal breaker with me. No way am I more confident in Zeke against GSW in the finals than Kyrie.

And while Kyrie is a bad defender, his limitations on that end aren't nearly has fatal as Zeke's. When Kyrie tries, he isn't a turnstyle. When Zeke tries...he still is.

Are you including the Cavs series averages in this?

Yeah I was. He only played a game and a half I think lol

I'd have to look and see what Zeke did prior to the Cavs series but for the post part he's been inefficient his entire playoff career. W/o looking though, it looked like he had a great series against Washington however.

Where as Kyrie hasn't. Granted, Kyrie plays with Lebron but he's always been one of the league's best halfcourt scorers, and for me that skill come playoff time is why i'm taking Kyrie over Zeke.

Depending on how the Cavs and the NBA is looking at AS break, is there a chance that the Cavs move the BKN 18' pick by the deadline?

Seems like that pick is the backup plan if Bron leaves, which means they probably let Isaiah go and go into full rebuild. I don't see it happening but it is Cleveland's front office.

There's no need for him to have that production or usage with Hayward there

Mini Mamba gon get his 30 PPG this year.

Yup. Just trust Kyrie a lil more. They do the same **** but Kyrie is taller and he was great in the finals. Ain't seen IT in the finals.

So cavs guard depth includes IT, Rose and Jose Calderon ...

JR, shump,
LBJ, Crowder, Korver, RJ
Love, green, frye
TT, zizic

Is that the depth chart there ?

As long as Rose doesn't turn out to be Deron Williams part II, they're definitely deeper than last year. Especially if Wade indeed joins them at some point during the season.

Still a long way from matching the Warriors though. They could come even closer if they're willing to trade the Brooklyn pick.

Anyways, people are really underestimating the impact the new time out rules will have on the importance of depth this upcoming season.

I'm in the Kyrie>IT club but Kyrie has had Lebron with him for every playoff game of his life. IT did pretty damn good for himself being a main focus of the defense and a tiny man.

Which is why the numbers don't tell the full story. Isaiah's efficiency is gonna go up playing alongside LeBron.

Lebron helps yes.
But Kyries buckets were coming on ISO.
Efficiency would be his more than "from Lebron" right....

ISO was as easy with Lebron and that Cavs team as it will be with Celtics.

You had at most 3 scorers on the floor in Cleveland. Two when love was on the bench.

Horford can stretch Tristan can't.
Morris isn't Love offensively but still, you need 3 offensive threats to jump start an ISO, Kyrie will still have that and tbh moreso than he did with Cleveland, down the stretch.
