Would love to see a Heat/Celtic's playoff series although I wouldn't be confident in their chances

Heat probably a top 5 defense, versatile front court with an elite rebounder and maybe the second deepest bench in the East. If C's go the route of playing 3 rooks in their rotation then I could see 5+ games

i f with the heat they won me a bill last year . i knew they werent as bad as everyone claimed they was going to be. plus im a huge dion fan. his play on okc in the playoffs turned me into a fan of his.

They weren't as bad as their 11-30 start and they weren't as good as their 30-11 finish. I think they'll finish right around .500 again but be more consistent but in the East that will likely be enough for a 6 seed.

Aside from having the most injuries in the league last year (Not sure how much Bosh impacted this but his loss of a roster spot definitely hurt), Dion was absolutely terrible. His turnaround last year was miraculous and underreported... He went from shooting long 2's, barely even grazing the rim on drives and an almost negative AST/TO to shooting volume 3's on good percentage, finishing at the rim like Goran and being Heat's second best facilitator with Winslow down. Next season and the following depend in large part on Dion

I want to believe.

i think people are underestimating how weak the east really is. after boston and clev. .. there is a huge drop off in quality of teams.

That may be true, but the Heat didn't exactly improve their team and those other teams I mentioned didn't exactly get worse either. Don't see how they're onWAS, TOR, or MIL level let alone being as good as BOS.

Continuity, health, the Don Olynyk

All reasons Heat could get better. They were playing Okaro White, Rodney McGruder and Luke Babbitt out of necessity last year. Don't believe... Y'all didn't believe last year

And they proved people wrong how?
